2. Day 1: 11th October
In todays lesson we were assigned a group to
produce our first preliminary task. I was appointed
a group with my fellow peers Evan and Spencer;
where we decided on the genre Comedy. We
chose the genre comedy as we could create a
clip of entertainment consisting of practical jokes
and humour. Within this lesson, we began thinking
up some ideas and looking for inspiration for our
film clip.
3. Day 2: 12th October
In todays lesson we designed our storyboard where
we established which camera angles, characters
and props would be in each scene which Kelsey
finished off in her own time. However, our main
priority was trying to establish where we would
place the shots we had been assigned to be
present in everyone's preliminary production. We
also began working on our film script which
Spencer finished off in his own time. Evan also
wrote up our risk assessments which helped us
establish how much of our health and safety we
needed to be aware of.
4. Day 3: 13th October
In todays lesson we finalised our storyboard, script
and risk assessments for our production which
would take place the following day. Kelsey then
started writing up our filming schedule so we could
be organised and strict for when we would film. This
also secured and assured us our filming would be
done on time for the deadline (16th October).
Kelsey finished off the filming schedule in her own
time and also let Mr Barker know when he needed
to feature in the film production. Within this lesson,
we also filmed the audio for the storyboard.
5. Day 4: 14th October
In todays lesson, breaktime and lunchtime our
group made sure to be punctual for our filming
hours to meet our deadline. We filmed scenes 1, 2,
3 and 4 in the locations of Mr Barkers office, link
corridor and the media classroom. Kelsey then
uploaded them onto the computer.
6. Day 5: 15th October
Today we spent all morning filming scenes 5, 6, 7, 8
and 9 in the locations of the playground and link
corridor. Kelsey then spent the whole day editing
the footage and took 2 hours of her whole time to
finalise the film clip. Spencer began work on our
Emaze presentation to outline the task brief,
storyboard, risk assessments, shooting schedule,
script and music. Spencer also contributed help for
the production diary and outlined key terms which
Kelsey forgot.
7. Day 6: 16th October
In todays lesson we continued work on our Emaze
presentation outlining our music and why we chose
to use that music in the film clip. We also processed
and uploaded our film onto youtube to be public.
