Obama Persuasive Speech
First of all, you have no idea how people voted. I voted for Obama for the Hope and Change that I
thought was so desperately needed after Bush. Well, that was a loss because Mr. Obama has taken
what was bad and made it worse. Plus, many people voted for Obama only because he was black so
stop with the bullshit racist reasons of why you think people hate his policies. Obama has divided
our country by sex, by race, by gender, by race, by religious beliefs, by RACE! The fact that there
are plenty of black police, judges, politicians, doctors, lawyers, professors, etc shows the country
has not tried to keep the black person down. You wanna keep talking about race? Fine! Not only
that, but Obama DIVIDED this country by race. How he pulled the race card when that Micheal
Brown thug got shot by a police officer when he tried to steal his gun. He slandered police officers
saying they are being predatory against blacks. But yet I still see black thugs breaking the law and
being shot because they still try to put up a fight with police officers. What about those riots? The

Obama had done nothing for the black communities in this country. I dare you, walk down the street
in a high volume black area and see how safe you feel. It's disgusting that the number of black on
black crimes is overlooked by the black population. Then they start putting their thug children on
posters and say it's the fault of the police. Obama cries at his farewell speech, but walks out
laughing to go golfing after an American was beheaded. He pulled the troops out of Iraq even
though he was warned it would leave a huge hole for terrorists to assemble. He called ISIS the JV
team, and won't even call them ISIS, he refers to them as ISIL so it's not associated with Syria. And
you know why right? Because it's his fault that Syria is in such a mess and refugees are searching

Barack Obama 's President Obama
Hillary Rodham Clinton is the democratic nominee running for this upcoming presidency in 2016.
Clinton was born on October 26th, 1947, in Chicago Illinois (bio). She is no surprise to the white
house and political issues having been the first lady herself. She became the first lady of the United
States from 1993 to 2001 when her husband Bill Clinton was president (bio). She also became the
first wife of a president and woman to be a U.S senator, representing New York (bio). In 2007,
Clinton announced her run for presidency a first time but ended up dropping out of the nomination
because Barack Obama had majority vote (bio). When Barack Obama became president he
appointed Hillary Clinton the 67th U.S secretary of state from 2009 to 2013 (bio). Now she's in the
running for presidency again alongside representative candidate Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton has
made many promises to the citizens of the United States if elected president this fall. She's touched
on many issues that she felt needs to be influenced to ensure a great future for this country. One of
those issues being a debt free college. Her plans are to make college free to those who can't afford it.
To begin her presidency if elected, she hopes by 2021, those whose income is under $125,000 a
year, would not have to pay tuition to attend an in state four year college or university ("Hillary").
This would mean that even more students can attend college at a no cost fee. Also, Clinton would

The First Lady. Obama
The First Lady When I first saw Michelle Obama it was in 2007 during the election trail. I did not
really know much about her then, because I was only in the 5th grade and I was more into dolls and
Disney channel than watching politics. I would hear my mother talk about her, but that is the most
that I would know about her for a while. I started to really notice her win I started to see her on
Nickelodeon and Disney Channel when she would do her guest appearance on some shows. I than
started to hear about some of her works on fitness in America and the obesity rates. When
Nickelodeon would have their Worldwide Day of play I would see some of the interviews that she
would do. I started to hear about her food regulations that she has put through and heard some
people and students complain about. Michelle Obama is a very smart woman and she is trying to get
people to see that having good health can help them succeed. In all actuality she is there and doing
somethings that other First Ladies have not done and is which in some ways she is a great First
Lady. She is a woman to look up to for a few reasons. Michelle Obama has been working to help
people and bring awareness to mental health issues. Some people may ask why they should listen to
her. According to Barbara O 'Dair, Michelle Obama Has taken the lead on ending this stigma so
sufferers, including, military personnel, veterans, and their families, can get the help they need" (O

Comparison Of President Obama And Barack Obama
The current president of the United States of America is seventy–one years old, born, and raised in
Queens, New York. He is a wealthy Caucasian person whose net worth of 3.5 billion was created
through his successful business ventures. Donald Trump was a real estate king, former reality TV
star, contributed to large profitable building projects in Manhattan and opened the Grand Hyatt
hotel. President Trump is a member of the Republican Party and he lacks political experience. The
former president of the United States of America is fifty–six years old, born in Honolulu, Hawaii.
His mother is a Caucasian woman and his father's origin is Africa, his net worth of twelve million
and two thousand is not that much when compared to President Trump. Barack Obama was the 44th
president of the United States of America, he was the first African–American to serve in office.
Obama's presidency lasted from 2008–2012, he is a member of the Democratic Party. Obama was a
state senator, keynote senator, and a U.S senator before becoming the President of the United States.
Trump and Obama are both Protestant Christians they believe that Jesus is the key to all salvation.
Donald Trump and Barack Obama are different as Trump is an aggressive and ambitious leader.
While Obama is a popular and charismatic leader, their qualities have shown through the way they
both handled health care and tax issues.

Change and Obama Essay
Introduction – Change and Obama
Last year, America has elected a new president and in fact the first black president, Barack Obama.
As what all other presidents have done, they made so many promises during their campaign, in order
for people to support them and win the votes to become president. President Barack Obama used the
word change as his campaign tagline last year. It triggered us, the people around the world, to have
the interest on how Obama has brought changes to the White House, to the political map in the
United States of America, and to the world. It is also vital to know how much Obama has altered the
image of the America to the better, how he 'sterilize' the previous government's mess, and the overall
performance of Barack ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Another big problem that is haunting America and the world right now is the last–year economic
recession that hit the US Stock Market, which affects America and the world. Although Obama
barely has economic background (he was a lawyer), he did quite a number of acts in order to
improve the American economy and ultimately lifting the world's economy standard which was
trampled completely last year. He tried to overcome bankruptcies with encouraging new companies
to form with less or no tax imposed on capital gain in newly formed businesses. He also followed
the way Hitler and Hjalmar Schacht of improving the economy too, by making mega–projects for
road–building and further infrastructural projects to attract the workers and keep them away from
unemployment. At the same time, he tries his best to keep it as environmentally friendly as possible
by passing the Emission act, etc. so that he keeps the balance between 'health' of the earth and
economic progress.
The US$ 787 billion bail–out plan that he has passed last year was considered a success by some
experts. Although it was not able to flip the economy upside down in one night, but it is statistically
proven that it has retarded the pace of the negative GDP since Obama took over the office early this
year, although the unemployment rate is expected to remain high.
Beside dealing with the Middle Eastern conflict and tackling the economic crisis, Obama attempted
to improve the relation of

We have had many presidents throughout the time span of the United States. Some good, some bad
it takes a lot to be a good president. It takes passion, dedication, and you have to be able to sway the
people in your direction. Very few have accomplished this task. Barack Obama is in my opinion the
best president to have touched down at the White House. Obama was able to get people of all ages,
genders, and races to vote for him and support him. He won the states of Florida and Texas both
times in his back to back election years. Obama was liked by many people from all around he had
foreign presidents, and politicians they all wanted to meet with him face to face. Obama also had a

Obama Achievements
The interviewee told me that when Obama was elected as the first Black American president of US
not only the African Americans who cheered but also people from various ethnic backgrounds
including the Asians, Whites and the Arabs. They were happy because they could see a change,
whereby the world would change from a racial kind of leadership to a kind of leadership which
recognized every person from different ethnic groups to be having the ability to offer a good
leadership. Before, people thought that the blacks were inferior and they could not produce a good
leader but after the election of Obama it was now clear that the black people like other people could
be elected in any kind of office in the world. The election of Obama does not only ... Show more

These positive changes did not affect the US positively but the whole world. This is because when a
country is affected either positively or negatively it means that other countries are affected because
countries mutually depend on with each other. One of the significant achievements is passing of
Health Care Reform. Obama was able to create health care act which ensured that more than twenty
million people in America gained coverage. This health care reform provided affordable health care
to most American people because it provided subsidies for Americans to enable them to buy
coverage and also prohibited insurers from denying coverage to those people who are believed to
have preexisting conditions. Another achievement of Obama is that he rescued the economy of the
US during a time when there was a great depression in the whole world. Also, he was able to create
more jobs in the US during his tenure thus reducing the rate of unemployment. Lastly, Obama was
able to fight terrorism in the whole world. For example, he killed Osama who was a threat to the
international security due to his acts of

The Election Of President Obama
"Shellacked", "thumpin", "ass–whuppin"; use whatever term you want but following Tuesday 's epic
win by the Republicans in the midterms one thing is clear: politics in America has changed. What is
not yet clear is if that change is something that is permanent or just a fleeting fancy that will
stabilize in two years. Democrats surely hope that Tuesday night was not a sign of a changing
electorate but a sign of what happens to a president 's party in a midterm election. If they believe
that, if they approach recovering from this defeat as such, if they do not learn from their many, many
mistakes in 2014 then the Democrats will surely lose again. President Obama had certainly learn
from the mistakes of his party and from history if he wishes to get his presidency back on track
during the two years he has left. Judging from his press conference on Wednesday, it seems the
president has yet to realize the consequence of what happened on Tuesday evening. It is true that
two–thirds of Americans chose not to vote. An argument can be made that the Democrats who ran
from his (and, in most cases, their) record and even from whether or not they voted for him while
serving as an Obama delegate at the 2012 convention, were cowards. It is true that the Republican
candidates chose not to highlight specific policy proposals and instead used fear tactics and made
every race, not about their district or state, but about the president. It is true that the Democrats had a

Barack Obama Qualities
Political leaders are everywhere, but there are few "true leader." Barack Hussein Obama has
numerous qualifications that make an outstanding leader. I selected this type of leader because he
has the "Traits Associated with Leadership." Obama is a leader with ambitious and determination.
For instance, in the article, Barack Obama Biography.com, stated, "On November 6, 2012, Obama
won a second four–year term as president by receiving nearly five million more votes than Romney
and capturing more than 60 percent of the Electoral College." This quote signifies that Obama is
ambitious and has a strong influence on the American people that helped him to become president of
the United States. Overall, Obama won two terms, and he was the first president Afro–American in
the United States.
The second trait is to not be afraid to battle and take responsibility as a leader. Obama is a leader
that is not frightened to take action, and he is an influential leader that can lead the way. Moreover,
Obama shows leadership and responsibility. According in the article Barack Obama Biography.com:
On the economic front, Obama worked to steer the country through difficult financial times. After
drawn–out negotiations with Republicans who gained control of the U.S. House of Representatives

Barack is a leader with these two traits. Obama is trustworthy and shows consistency between his
speeches and performances. For illustration, in the article, Barack Obama Biography.com, said, "he
also insisted that, despite obstacles, he was determined to help American citizens through the
nation's current domestic difficulties. "We don't quit. I don't quit," he said. "Let's seize this moment
to start anew, to carry the dream forward, and to strengthen our union once more." This means that it
is time to progress and make dreams a reality. Obama uses these words to motivate American

Obama's speech during the Democratic National Convention (DNC) 2004 was very successful. He
was delivering the speech on a party platform. Party had convened at TD Garden, (former
FleetCentre), to express their confidence in Senator John Kerry who was the candidate of the party
to contest in Presidential elections and Senator John Edwards who was to be the vice president in
that year's presidential elections. Barack Obama was also Senate candidate from Illinois. The
convention was the last presidential nominating convention held in that year. The meeting aimed to
confirm the parties' nominees.
Party delegates (both the pledged delegates and unpledged delegates were in attendance. Pledged
delegates represent U.S states, and American territories and dependencies. The unpledged delegates
are also known as superdelegates, and they are the representatives of Democratic Establishment. The
pledged and unpledged delegates vote during the DNC. The DNC 2004 was the end of the party
elections and the beginning of Campaigns for the general elections.

Trump's falsehood is part of his life habit that has been with him and he continues to make a lot of

similarities between these two leaders is being against someone but do the same thing as the other
person. When they kicked out Mr. Jones from the animals farm, they probated the action of human
which were drinking, sleeping on a bed and many others. But it didn't take long for Napoleon to
break those and start to sleep on a bed and drink alcohol and do other probated thing that he wasn't

golf and tweeted "Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the U.S.,
President Obama spent the day playing golf," but it didn't take long for Trump to go and play golf
after his election. Not only he played golf but he played more golf in a year than Obama did. By his
saying it looked like he wasn't even going to play golf for one day but he has done it 36 times in one

Obama Care : A Plan
Obama care is a plan introduced in the US with the aim of reforming the existing health sector. The
introduction of the plan was in the form of a bill that was later signed into law in 2010 by President
Obama (Manchikanti & Hirsch, 2009). Also, Obama care is referred to as Affordable Care Act
(Manchikanti & Hirsch, 2009). The act aims at introducing reforms in the American Health care
system offered to the citizens. The Act provides Affordable Quality Insurance to the American
citizens so as to help curb the increasing healthcare spending (Manchikanti & Hirsch, 2009). The
health reforms outlined in the Obama care include the introduction of new insurance rules to be
observed by the Insurance Companies, insurance mandates and exchanges, ... Show more content on

The law facilitated spreading of risks among insured individuals, thereby ending the previous state
of discrimination experienced in the health sector. Previously, the American citizens had
experienced discrimination in areas like gender and health status as well as facing different health
care costs based on individual's age (Manchikanti & Hirsch, 2009). The plan imposes limitations on
the previous discrepancies concerning the amount that individuals were being charged. Therefore,
all Americans who are in the position to contribute towards the plan should maintain a minimum
essential coverage while individuals who cannot afford are exempted from maintaining the
coverage. The plan established a marketplace for competitive health insurance enabling many
Americans to access group buying, comparing insurance plans as well as receive cost assistance.
The other benefit of the Affordable Act is an introduction of stability to the American budget and
economy. The available projection predicted a reduction of the budget deficit by around $100 billion
within the next decade, after implementation of the plan. The provision of the Obama care provided
relief to the American citizens by abolishing the various restrictions on benefits. For instance, the
law abolished lifetime and annual dollar limits

Rhetoric Of Obama
America as we probably am aware it– – affluent, effective, confident – is not what Obama needs. He
needs a little America, a poorer America, an America not able to apply its will, an America upbeat to
be one power among numerous, an America in decay so that different countries may rise– – all for
the sake of worldwide reasonableness. To Obama, the loathed "one percent" isn't quite recently
affluent Americas; it is America itself. In Obama's view, America should be brought down a peg.
That is the startling finish of top of the line creator Dinesh D'Souza in Obama's America. Expanding

as it may, in declaring that Obama owes his ascent to being "aided" by whites, he repeats another
anti–agents generalization, that of the reliant dark individual who lives grayish individuals'
abundance and blame. D'Souza suggests that Obama was chosen as an analgesic to that blame and

Obama Rhetorical Analysis
The late author and Ambassador Clare Boothe Luce claimed that every presidency can be reduced to
a single sentence with an active verb, e.g., "Lincoln freed the slaves," or "Nixon resigned." What
one active verb will best summarize the Obama Presidency?
President Obama burst onto the national stage with a keynote address at the 2004 Democratic
National Convention. Just four years later, the frequent use of "Hope," "Change," and "Yes We Can"
became rhetorical trademarks of his successful presidential campaign.
The "bully pulpit" has served as a prominent feature of Obama's presidency, and five points reveal
the significance of rhetoric in assessing his presidential legacy.

Presidential elections are a very big deal in America. Most people have a very strong opinion about
whom they think should win, and very few don't care at all. The months before an election you
would have to be both blind and deaf if you didn't know the election was going on. Signs banners
etc are all over peoples' front yards, it's all they talk about on TV and radio, and debates and
discussions are started within classrooms. The election in 2008 was a very big deal. America could
end up having their first ever African American president. Many doubted it was ever going to

Even the very last sentence in his essay can be interpreted either as a funny comment or a sarcastic
mean comment: "Oh, get your own black president." (l. 287–288). He's tired of the French
constantly talking about Obama and how America "made the right choice in their eyes".
The on again off again joking gives the essay its style and it works well as comic relief. Some of the
jokes are just stupid puns like "I'll bet you that half of America could elect a half–black president".
Others are actually quite funny like he explains how much he exaggerated about how BBC
broadcasted the inauguration of Obama, and how he explains how Americans who threatened to
leave the country if Obama was elected should move to right–wing Europe. He also uses humor
when explaining Americans' use of front yard signs and buttons with exaggerations such as "for
town slut" and "I am a huge asshole". You can't help but laugh when you read things like that among
serious campaign slogans for signs and buttons.
Besides the comic relief there are various forms of prejudice explored in the essay. First of all, the
fact that every French person David encounters doesn't believe Americans will elect an African
American president is probably the biggest prejudice we can find in the essay. They think Americans
are still so narrow–minded that they will look above and beyond his intellectual and leadership
abilities and will define him solemnly because of his skin color. They don't sweeten it

Barack Obama And President Obama
Background. Hillary Clinton was appointed as secretary of state by The President Barack Obama
and served from 2009 through 2013. Her email difficulties began during initial tenure as secretary of
state (Eugene, 2016). She contended on using her personal BlackBerry phone for all her email
communications, but she was not permitted to take the phone into Mahogany Row office which is a
secure space (Eugene, 2016). This was very frustrating for Clinton, as secretary of state; she needed
to manage a flood of email to have constant updated communication with colleagues, friends and
enthusiasts (Eugene, 2016). She was not willing to leave her phone into a lockbox before entering
her own office (Eugene, 2016). Her advisors and senior officials tried to find a way to facilitate her
to use the personal device in the secure area, but their efforts worried the diplomatic security bureau,
which was afraid that foreign intelligence services could hack her personal phone and make it a bug
(Eugene, 2016). In the month of Feb 2009 Department security, intelligence and technology
specialists and NSA officials gathered in Mahogany Row conference room and described the risks to
Clinton's chief of staff Ms. Cheryl Mills, while also seeking "mitigation options" that would satisfy
Clinton's wishes (Eugene, 2016). Donald Reid, senior coordinator for security infrastructure

Is Obama a Prince?
In the year 1531 the famous political philosopher Niccolo Machiavelli's wrote a treatise entitled The
Prince. It explains the proper guidelines for a prince to successfully lead a republic. Although this
sixteenth century politician's main purpose was to unite a separate Italy, his political theories have
been taken into deep consideration and are commonly exercised in politics today. If Machiavelli
were alive today he would agree that qualities of the current president Barack Obama coincide with
his prince–like standards and make him the ideal candidate for the 2012 Presidential Election.

During his first year of presidency he focused on fixing areas of the government President Bush
failed to properly oversee; one being aspects of Bush's war on terrorism. Obama began his
destruction with the CIA; in regards to interrogation tactics, Obama dispelled secret memos hidden
by the Bush administration, causing much controversy in the government. This incident brought
much attention to other faults that occurred during the previous presidents reign.
As President Obama informed the United States of the illegal secrecies President Bush with his
government agencies he successfully fulfilled Machiavelli's guidelines stated in chapter three, "Of
Mixed Principalities". In this chapter he presents distinct approaches a prince should take when a
new land is acquired. Machiavelli states "whoever acquires them, if he wants to hold them...the
bloodline of their ancient prince must be eliminated". As Obama unveiled many of Bush's faults, he
succeeded in turning the American people against their former leader. Along with Obama's
immediate action with Guantanamo Bay and the halting of government programs, this was another
step closer to putting and end to Bush's war on terrorism.
Although Obama took time to criticize the previous Bush administration for the war on terrorism, he
himself supported the war on terror by sending in more troops to Afghanistan his first year in office.
In February of 2009 he sent 17,000

elections that took place. In both of these situations, whether it was President Barack Obama
defeating Senator John McCain in 2008, or President Donald Trump winning over Hillary Clinton in
2016, there are similarities between both of these races. Whether these similarities are being
unconventional politicians, or appealing to the people, these are what caused both Presidents to
defeat their more traditional political opponents.
The 2008 Election– John McCain vs. Barack Obama: In November of 2008, Senators John McCain
and Barack Obama ran against each other in what has been considered to be a historical race, as the
outcome was that the first African American Presidential candidate would become President. One of
the big questions that came after this race was why did Barack Obama beat John McCain? Senator
McCain, a Republican from Arizona, who fought in the Vietnam war was taken Prisoner . He was
the stereotypical candidate for President, as he had years of experience in the government as well as
military experience. One of the most important jobs for the President of the United States would be
that of Commander in Chief, something that Senator McCain would thrive in, and something that

George W. Bush during the campaign in June of 1999 admitted that he had essentially no knowledge

During this time there were no active wars, so what the American public was most concerned about
was domestic politics, something that George Bush knew about. Through not knowing about foreign
policy he appealed to many of the voters, specifically blue collar workers who had no knowledge of
this themselves. Admitting that he had no knowledge made him approachable and more of a regular

Obama Rhetorical Devices
Barack Obama's Use of Rhetorical Devices in Public Speaking
Introduction
There has been many great speakers throughout the United States' history, such as John F. Kennedy,
Martin Luther King Jr., and Abraham Lincoln. The use body language and rhetoric has been studied
in depth for these speakers, but I want to focus on a modern day speaker who won over a nation. As
of today Barack Obama is arguable one of the best speakers of modern time, as his style of speaking
has a way of reaching many different demographics. His keynote address at the 2004 Democratic
National Convention is arguable the speech that would make him president in 2008. But what is it
that makes his speeches so inspirational and persuasive to people from so many different walks ...

In this address Obama consecutively said the following, "Together we determine," then, "together
we discover," and lastly, "together we resolved." ("Inaugural Address by President Barack
Obama.")This use of repetition cements the unified atmosphere that makes Obama seem like a
regular guy who is pushing along with everyone else. Barack Obama's use of repetition not only
cements the point he is making, but is also a strategy he uses when he wants to imitate the style of
MLK Jr. It can also be seen that he uses this in certain areas of the USA more than others, and he
also uses it when he wants to remind the audience specifically of MLK Jr. Audience is an important
aspect of public speaking, and it is one that Obama is very good at considering. He has proven that
he has the ability to cater to any audience and create a unified atmosphere, through his ability to take
on several different personas. He takes on the character of being authoritative, a drive for change,
and also a person who has been historically ignored. (Jenkins, K. B., & Cos, G.) He is keenly aware
of the demographics of his audience, and takes it upon himself to represent them all, thus making
everyone feel spoken for.

The Pros And Cons Of Obama
Most Obama supporters look at Obama and see all the wonderful things he has done for America but
seem to forget the bad. He is known as the first "climate president" for acknowledging global
warming. He finds rising temperatures to be concerning and fears his grandchildren will not have
the things we have today. During his two terms he has banned drilling in the Artic, put new fuel
standards on cars and has tried to cut green house gas emissions. These are the things he is praised
for but there Is a dark side to Obamas reign as president, on the environment. Since Obama has been
president his administration has approved financial support worth 34 billion in coal, oil and gas

As stated in the Constitution of the United States, the President "shall from time to time give to the
Congress information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their consideration such
measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient." Since 1947, this constitutionally mandated
address has become known as the State of the Union Address. President Barack Obama continued
this tradition in his final State of the Union Address to Congress and the American citizens on
January 12, 2016. In his desire to create a legacy that reached beyond his administration, President
Obama focused on four key topics for America 's future: opportunity in the future economy;
utilizing technology for progress; keeping America safe while regulating foreign policy? and
reforming American politics for future administrations. Although President Obama 's 2016 address
tendered several suggestions for shaping America 's future economy, education, sustaining employee
benefits, and investing in clean energy emerged as prominent ways to secure the economy for future
generations. In his statement "real opportunity requires every American to get the education and
training they need to land a good–paying job," President Obama emphasizes the paramount affect
that job training and education has on the American economy. President Obama 's speech reflects a
belief that for American citizens to continue to have opportunities, they must be trained for those

Obama Reflection
For my seminar, my group and I did Obamacare and Birth Control and the theme we had chosen
was 'The corruption of power, which allows racism, sexism, and religious intolerance to flourish'.
Firstly, Obamacare is called "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act", but it is usually called,
"ACA". Before I go into further detail regarding ACA, there is a big misconception regarding
Obamacare. Obamacare is a health insurance reform, not healthcare reform. Also, Obamacare and
ACA are the same things.
Firstly, ACA was effective on March 23 2010, as a health insurance reform. The ACA required every
citizen in the United States to have health insurance by the year 2014. The reason for this is that they
can balance a number of healthy people to sick people, so they can keep the premiums down for
everybody. Also, the ACA requires all corporations with 50+ employees to pay for their female
employees birth control. For my seminar, I hope to accomplish a court trial seminar. The trail was
supposed to be a trial that was somewhat like the Hobby Lobby case that happened three years ago.

When I was brainstorming some ideas for our court case, it was very difficult to decide what will be
the reason we are having this court case. But, the biggest obstacle in my seminar was the lack of
group contributions Buy two group members Keshin and Christina. To be honest, Kishen did more
work think Christina even though he didn't show up much. Even though Kishen gave his part of the
work one day before a seminar date, Christina did even doing anything. To get around this problem,
I did their part of the work, so we can finish our seminar and get somewhere further. The way we
overcame the first obstacle is that we made Paige have an illegal abortion. The reason for that is that
the ACA covers abortion. We tried to make it a bit different from the Hobby Lobby case so it could

Barack Obama Thesis
Barack Obama: Writer in Chief President Barack Obama is know for remarkable events such as
becoming the first African American president of the United States; however, not everyone knows
about what else Obama has done. He is also an author who has written around twenty books
including a memoir about his early life leading up to his life in law school, and a children's book
dedicated to his daughters. His most famous book Dreams From My Father, a memoir about his
early life leading up to law school, is a prime example of what influenced him to write. There were
many things that happened in Obama's life that caused him to write. Things such as the segregation
happening in the U.S at the time, his broken home and his feelings towards his absent father. ...

Throughout all of his writing, he talks about race and the desire of equality and how being
segregated affected him as a human being. While he was in college, he was one of three black
students in the school so he became really aware of the racism and discrimination. The current
president stated "I noticed that there was nobody like me in the Sears, Roebuck Christmas catalog. .
.and that Santa was a white man. I went into the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror with all
my senses and limbs seemingly intact, looking as I had always looked, and wondered if something
was wrong with me" (Barack Obama). Because of the difference in color and the stigma against
black people, he would wonder what was wrong with him and that later is one of his main issues

Obama Authority
Max weber identified three types of authority found in social organizations. These three are
traditional authority, legal– rational authority, and charismatic authority. The authority that I believe
closely represents our president is legal– rational authority which is defined as "authority based on
laws, rules, and procedures, not in the heredity or personality of any individual leader. Modern
presidencies and parliaments are built upon this type of authority " (Ferris, 2014). I believe President
Obama is recognized mostly for this because what he does is based on what the laws say, his
presidency is not based on his emotions. It's built upon what the people want and what they believe
he can do for the country. Along with the president being legal–rational authority you could also say
he is charismatic authority which is defined as "authority based in the perception of remarkable
personal qualities in leader" (Ferris, 2014). I only believe he is partially charismatic authority
because during election season he promised things he would do during his presidency in order to
gain popularity and get people to vote for him, if the American population ... Show more content on

Is usually associated with monarchies and dynasties" (Ferris, 2014). President Obama is not this
type because he had to earn the right to be president, he wasn't an heir on the throne and had the
power handed down. An example of this authority is a birth into a family where one becomes heir to
the throne, this comes into play in the current society in North Korea where the leader is Kim Jong–
Un. Another real life leader is Queen Elizabeth II, and she is the leader of the United Kingdom. Her
power is primarily honorary that's why they also can be considered legal–rational authority. To add
in England they keep a clear separation between the church and the law, but she can still be called

Goals For Obama Care
Last year 11 million people signed up for Health Insurance through Obama Care. This affordable
care act is supposed to be helping the middle and low classes of America, when in reality its just
making things worse. Because of Obama Care, Americans are finding themselves being forced to
change their health coverage or even their long term doctors. More and more each day, more doctors
are starting to refuse Medicaid and Medicare payments. Which makes things more difficult for a
majority of Americans that have Medicaid or Medicare. On the other side of the ring, there are many
critics who believe that Americans not only have better access tot that care but that Obama Care is
actually succeeding. Obama Care's two major goals were to fix coverage and cost. Even though
Obama Care's succession is growing slowly, some critics believe it will be worth the wait. Obama
Care has been keeping healthcare providers motivated by their various tools. Health care providers
will receive financial rewards cutting cost for good health treatment. But they will also receive
serious penalties for bad care. To say Obama Care's success is proceeding slowly is true, but in
given time it will grow stronger and more effective in time. According to 46 year old cancer

Law Identification
The Affordable Health Care Act also known as Obamacare is a reform law that was enacted in
March of 2010 by the 111th United States Congress that had begun the last two weeks of George W.
Bush's presidency. And what they did was have a legislative branch meeting in 2010 to discuss The
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that was eventually nicknamed Obamacare, that also
included the Health Care and Reconciliation Act of 2010.This was an act that would ensure that all
Americans have access to good quality affordable health care, and they would create all of the
transformation and also keep it in the margins of the health care system. The Congressional Budget
Office had determined at the time that the bill was made ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The act was created to make health care insurance more affordable for people with little to no
insurance coverage. Obama Care had many interest groups that supported Obama Care for example
many labor unions that had contracts with the federal government that now run the Medicare,
Medicaid, and Veteran Health Clinics that they expanded their franchises and also gained a lot of
political power.
Description of the Bill
What the act was made to do was help all the low income Americans by providing them with better
health care security, and they tried doing that by placing health care insurance reforms that would;
expand coverage, hold insurance companies accountable, lower health care cost, guarantee more
choices, and enhance the quality of care for all Americans. One of the main points was The
Individual Mandate of buying insurance that meant that no one should go without having some kind
of health insurance if they did they would be taxed for it, but there were some exceptions to it for
example if your insurance would cost around 8% of your household income you would be excepted
from the tax, or also citizens who are not are enrolled in Medicaid. Another major point of the bill
was the Health Insurance Exchanges that insure that in all Fifty States people would be able to
purchase health care insurance that complied with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act for
people, and small businesses.

Obamas Caught in the Madness A recent study conducted at Stanford found out that 82 percent of

because it can affect people's careers and even sway election results. Fake news occurs when hoax

This has recently become a major concern because it can have detrimental repercussions and affect
people's lives. There are many ways to take steps toward getting rid of fake news. Facebook and
Google are taking major action to try and prevent fake news from being spread on their websites.
One way they did this is by changing their algorithm which allowed fake news to be filtered out of
their feed. Not only should companies be trying to combat fake news from being spread, but also the
society as a whole should help this from happening. One way to prevent the increase of fake news is
if social media users know how to spot fake news. Some things to look for when reading an article is
the date the story was posted, the author, and even read beyond the headline to see if the article
actually matches the outrageous headline. If we as a society do not change the way we share and

Obama's Hope and Change Presidency

  • 1. Obama Persuasive Speech First of all, you have no idea how people voted. I voted for Obama for the Hope and Change that I thought was so desperately needed after Bush. Well, that was a loss because Mr. Obama has taken what was bad and made it worse. Plus, many people voted for Obama only because he was black so stop with the bullshit racist reasons of why you think people hate his policies. Obama has divided our country by sex, by race, by gender, by race, by religious beliefs, by RACE! The fact that there are plenty of black police, judges, politicians, doctors, lawyers, professors, etc shows the country has not tried to keep the black person down. You wanna keep talking about race? Fine! Not only that, but Obama DIVIDED this country by race. How he pulled the race card when that Micheal Brown thug got shot by a police officer when he tried to steal his gun. He slandered police officers saying they are being predatory against blacks. But yet I still see black thugs breaking the law and being shot because they still try to put up a fight with police officers. What about those riots? The BLM (which is a racist and domestic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Obama had done nothing for the black communities in this country. I dare you, walk down the street in a high volume black area and see how safe you feel. It's disgusting that the number of black on black crimes is overlooked by the black population. Then they start putting their thug children on posters and say it's the fault of the police. Obama cries at his farewell speech, but walks out laughing to go golfing after an American was beheaded. He pulled the troops out of Iraq even though he was warned it would leave a huge hole for terrorists to assemble. He called ISIS the JV team, and won't even call them ISIS, he refers to them as ISIL so it's not associated with Syria. And you know why right? Because it's his fault that Syria is in such a mess and refugees are searching for shelter and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. Barack Obama 's President Obama Hillary Rodham Clinton is the democratic nominee running for this upcoming presidency in 2016. Clinton was born on October 26th, 1947, in Chicago Illinois (bio). She is no surprise to the white house and political issues having been the first lady herself. She became the first lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001 when her husband Bill Clinton was president (bio). She also became the first wife of a president and woman to be a U.S senator, representing New York (bio). In 2007, Clinton announced her run for presidency a first time but ended up dropping out of the nomination because Barack Obama had majority vote (bio). When Barack Obama became president he appointed Hillary Clinton the 67th U.S secretary of state from 2009 to 2013 (bio). Now she's in the running for presidency again alongside representative candidate Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton has made many promises to the citizens of the United States if elected president this fall. She's touched on many issues that she felt needs to be influenced to ensure a great future for this country. One of those issues being a debt free college. Her plans are to make college free to those who can't afford it. To begin her presidency if elected, she hopes by 2021, those whose income is under $125,000 a year, would not have to pay tuition to attend an in state four year college or university ("Hillary"). This would mean that even more students can attend college at a no cost fee. Also, Clinton would ensure that "all community ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 5. The First Lady. Obama The First Lady When I first saw Michelle Obama it was in 2007 during the election trail. I did not really know much about her then, because I was only in the 5th grade and I was more into dolls and Disney channel than watching politics. I would hear my mother talk about her, but that is the most that I would know about her for a while. I started to really notice her win I started to see her on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel when she would do her guest appearance on some shows. I than started to hear about some of her works on fitness in America and the obesity rates. When Nickelodeon would have their Worldwide Day of play I would see some of the interviews that she would do. I started to hear about her food regulations that she has put through and heard some people and students complain about. Michelle Obama is a very smart woman and she is trying to get people to see that having good health can help them succeed. In all actuality she is there and doing somethings that other First Ladies have not done and is which in some ways she is a great First Lady. She is a woman to look up to for a few reasons. Michelle Obama has been working to help people and bring awareness to mental health issues. Some people may ask why they should listen to her. According to Barbara O 'Dair, Michelle Obama Has taken the lead on ending this stigma so sufferers, including, military personnel, veterans, and their families, can get the help they need" (O 'Dair 36) She has met soldiers dealing ... • 7. Comparison Of President Obama And Barack Obama The current president of the United States of America is seventy–one years old, born, and raised in Queens, New York. He is a wealthy Caucasian person whose net worth of 3.5 billion was created through his successful business ventures. Donald Trump was a real estate king, former reality TV star, contributed to large profitable building projects in Manhattan and opened the Grand Hyatt hotel. President Trump is a member of the Republican Party and he lacks political experience. The former president of the United States of America is fifty–six years old, born in Honolulu, Hawaii. His mother is a Caucasian woman and his father's origin is Africa, his net worth of twelve million and two thousand is not that much when compared to President Trump. Barack Obama was the 44th president of the United States of America, he was the first African–American to serve in office. Obama's presidency lasted from 2008–2012, he is a member of the Democratic Party. Obama was a state senator, keynote senator, and a U.S senator before becoming the President of the United States. Trump and Obama are both Protestant Christians they believe that Jesus is the key to all salvation. Donald Trump and Barack Obama are different as Trump is an aggressive and ambitious leader. While Obama is a popular and charismatic leader, their qualities have shown through the way they both handled health care and tax issues. • 9. Change and Obama Essay Introduction – Change and Obama Last year, America has elected a new president and in fact the first black president, Barack Obama. As what all other presidents have done, they made so many promises during their campaign, in order for people to support them and win the votes to become president. President Barack Obama used the word change as his campaign tagline last year. It triggered us, the people around the world, to have the interest on how Obama has brought changes to the White House, to the political map in the United States of America, and to the world. It is also vital to know how much Obama has altered the image of the America to the better, how he 'sterilize' the previous government's mess, and the overall performance of Barack ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Another big problem that is haunting America and the world right now is the last–year economic recession that hit the US Stock Market, which affects America and the world. Although Obama barely has economic background (he was a lawyer), he did quite a number of acts in order to improve the American economy and ultimately lifting the world's economy standard which was trampled completely last year. He tried to overcome bankruptcies with encouraging new companies to form with less or no tax imposed on capital gain in newly formed businesses. He also followed the way Hitler and Hjalmar Schacht of improving the economy too, by making mega–projects for road–building and further infrastructural projects to attract the workers and keep them away from unemployment. At the same time, he tries his best to keep it as environmentally friendly as possible by passing the Emission act, etc. so that he keeps the balance between 'health' of the earth and economic progress. The US$ 787 billion bail–out plan that he has passed last year was considered a success by some experts. Although it was not able to flip the economy upside down in one night, but it is statistically proven that it has retarded the pace of the negative GDP since Obama took over the office early this year, although the unemployment rate is expected to remain high. Beside dealing with the Middle Eastern conflict and tackling the economic crisis, Obama attempted to improve the relation of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 11. Persuasive Barack Obama We have had many presidents throughout the time span of the United States. Some good, some bad it takes a lot to be a good president. It takes passion, dedication, and you have to be able to sway the people in your direction. Very few have accomplished this task. Barack Obama is in my opinion the best president to have touched down at the White House. Obama was able to get people of all ages, genders, and races to vote for him and support him. He won the states of Florida and Texas both times in his back to back election years. Obama was liked by many people from all around he had foreign presidents, and politicians they all wanted to meet with him face to face. • 13. Obama Achievements The interviewee told me that when Obama was elected as the first Black American president of US not only the African Americans who cheered but also people from various ethnic backgrounds including the Asians, Whites and the Arabs. They were happy because they could see a change, whereby the world would change from a racial kind of leadership to a kind of leadership which recognized every person from different ethnic groups to be having the ability to offer a good leadership. Before, people thought that the blacks were inferior and they could not produce a good leader but after the election of Obama it was now clear that the black people like other people could be elected in any kind of office in the world. The election of Obama does not only ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These positive changes did not affect the US positively but the whole world. This is because when a country is affected either positively or negatively it means that other countries are affected because countries mutually depend on with each other. One of the significant achievements is passing of Health Care Reform. Obama was able to create health care act which ensured that more than twenty million people in America gained coverage. This health care reform provided affordable health care to most American people because it provided subsidies for Americans to enable them to buy coverage and also prohibited insurers from denying coverage to those people who are believed to have preexisting conditions. Another achievement of Obama is that he rescued the economy of the US during a time when there was a great depression in the whole world. Also, he was able to create more jobs in the US during his tenure thus reducing the rate of unemployment. Lastly, Obama was able to fight terrorism in the whole world. • 15. The Election Of President Obama "Shellacked", "thumpin", "ass–whuppin"; use whatever term you want but following Tuesday 's epic win by the Republicans in the midterms one thing is clear: politics in America has changed. What is not yet clear is if that change is something that is permanent or just a fleeting fancy that will stabilize in two years. Democrats surely hope that Tuesday night was not a sign of a changing electorate but a sign of what happens to a president 's party in a midterm election. If they believe that, if they approach recovering from this defeat as such, if they do not learn from their many, many mistakes in 2014 then the Democrats will surely lose again. President Obama had certainly learn from the mistakes of his party and from history if he wishes to get his presidency back on track during the two years he has left. Judging from his press conference on Wednesday, it seems the president has yet to realize the consequence of what happened on Tuesday evening. It is true that two–thirds of Americans chose not to vote. An argument can be made that the Democrats who ran from his (and, in most cases, their) record and even from whether or not they voted for him while serving as an Obama delegate at the 2012 convention, were cowards. It is true that the Republican candidates chose not to highlight specific policy proposals and instead used fear tactics and made every race, not about their district or state, but about the president. It is true that the Democrats had a horrific ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 17. Barack Obama Qualities Political leaders are everywhere, but there are few "true leader." Barack Hussein Obama has numerous qualifications that make an outstanding leader. I selected this type of leader because he has the "Traits Associated with Leadership." Obama is a leader with ambitious and determination. For instance, in the article, Barack Obama Biography.com, stated, "On November 6, 2012, Obama won a second four–year term as president by receiving nearly five million more votes than Romney and capturing more than 60 percent of the Electoral College." This quote signifies that Obama is ambitious and has a strong influence on the American people that helped him to become president of the United States. Overall, Obama won two terms, and he was the first president Afro–American in the United States. The second trait is to not be afraid to battle and take responsibility as a leader. Obama is a leader that is not frightened to take action, and he is an influential leader that can lead the way. Moreover, Obama shows leadership and responsibility. "We don't quit. I don't quit," he said. "Let's seize this moment to start anew, to carry the dream forward, and to strengthen our union once more." He was delivering the speech on a party platform. Party had convened at TD Garden, (former FleetCentre), to express their confidence in Senator John Kerry who was the candidate of the party to contest in Presidential elections and Senator John Edwards who was to be the vice president in that year's presidential elections. Barack Obama was also Senate candidate from Illinois. The convention was the last presidential nominating convention held in that year. The meeting aimed to confirm the parties' nominees. Party delegates (both the pledged delegates and unpledged delegates were in attendance. Pledged delegates represent U.S states, and American territories and dependencies. He doesn't think that it is his voice and after making that claim he continued to suggest that the tape is not actually him. The tape was recorded on the access Hollywood in 2005 when Donald Trump was with other eight guys including Billy Bush. He was making vulgar comments about women which were later revealed on his campaign when he was running for president came out. Trump's falsehood is part of his life habit that has been with him and he continues to make a lot of conspiracy theories that have no fact which is what exactly napoleons do. Also one of the biggest similarities between these two leaders is being against someone but do the same thing as the other person. When they kicked out Mr. Jones from the animals farm, they probated the action of human which were drinking, sleeping on a bed and many others. But it didn't take long for Napoleon to break those and start to sleep on a bed and drink alcohol and do other probated thing that he wasn't supposed to do. This was similar with Donald Trump when he was criticizing Obama for playing golf and tweeted "Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the U.S., President Obama spent the day playing golf," but it didn't take long for Trump to go and play golf after his election. Not only he played golf but he played more golf in a year than Obama did. By his saying it looked like he wasn't even going to play golf for one day but he has done it 36 times in one year which is ridiculous. • 23. Obama Care : A Plan Obama care is a plan introduced in the US with the aim of reforming the existing health sector. The introduction of the plan was in the form of a bill that was later signed into law in 2010 by President Obama (Manchikanti & Hirsch, 2009). Also, Obama care is referred to as Affordable Care Act (Manchikanti & Hirsch, 2009). The act aims at introducing reforms in the American Health care system offered to the citizens. The Act provides Affordable Quality Insurance to the American citizens so as to help curb the increasing healthcare spending (Manchikanti & Hirsch, 2009). The health reforms outlined in the Obama care include the introduction of new insurance rules to be observed by the Insurance Companies, insurance mandates and exchanges, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The law facilitated spreading of risks among insured individuals, thereby ending the previous state of discrimination experienced in the health sector. Previously, the American citizens had experienced discrimination in areas like gender and health status as well as facing different health care costs based on individual's age (Manchikanti & Hirsch, 2009). The plan imposes limitations on the previous discrepancies concerning the amount that individuals were being charged. Therefore, all Americans who are in the position to contribute towards the plan should maintain a minimum essential coverage while individuals who cannot afford are exempted from maintaining the coverage. The plan established a marketplace for competitive health insurance enabling many Americans to access group buying, comparing insurance plans as well as receive cost assistance. The other benefit of the Affordable Act is an introduction of stability to the American budget and economy. The available projection predicted a reduction of the budget deficit by around $100 billion within the next decade, after implementation of the plan. The provision of the Obama care provided relief to the American citizens by abolishing the various restrictions on benefits. For instance, the law abolished lifetime and annual dollar limits ... To Obama, the loathed "one percent" isn't quite recently affluent Americas; it is America itself. In Obama's view, America should be brought down a peg. Just four years later, the frequent use of "Hope," "Change," and "Yes We Can" became rhetorical trademarks of his successful presidential campaign. • 29. Obama!!! Obama!!! David Sedaris Presidential elections are a very big deal in America. Most people have a very strong opinion about whom they think should win, and very few don't care at all. The months before an election you would have to be both blind and deaf if you didn't know the election was going on. Signs banners etc are all over peoples' front yards, it's all they talk about on TV and radio, and debates and discussions are started within classrooms. The election in 2008 was a very big deal. Even the very last sentence in his essay can be interpreted either as a funny comment or a sarcastic mean comment: "Oh, get your own black president." (l. 287–288). He's tired of the French constantly talking about Obama and how America "made the right choice in their eyes". The on again off again joking gives the essay its style and it works well as comic relief. Some of the jokes are just stupid puns like "I'll bet you that half of America could elect a half–black president". Others are actually quite funny like he explains how much he exaggerated about how BBC broadcasted the inauguration of Obama, and how he explains how Americans who threatened to leave the country if Obama was elected should move to right–wing Europe. He also uses humor when explaining Americans' use of front yard signs and buttons with exaggerations such as "for town slut" and "I am a huge asshole". You can't help but laugh when you read things like that among serious campaign slogans for signs and buttons. Besides the comic relief there are various forms of prejudice explored in the essay. First of all, the fact that every French person David encounters doesn't believe Americans will elect an African American president is probably the biggest prejudice we can find in the essay. They think Americans are still so narrow–minded that they will look above and beyond his intellectual and leadership abilities and will define him solemnly because of his skin color. Her email difficulties began during initial tenure as secretary of state (Eugene, 2016). She contended on using her personal BlackBerry phone for all her email communications, but she was not permitted to take the phone into Mahogany Row office which is a secure space (Eugene, 2016). This was very frustrating for Clinton, as secretary of state; she needed to manage a flood of email to have constant updated communication with colleagues, friends and enthusiasts (Eugene, 2016). She was not willing to leave her phone into a lockbox before entering her own office (Eugene, 2016). Her advisors and senior officials tried to find a way to facilitate her to use the personal device in the secure area, but their efforts worried the diplomatic security bureau, which was afraid that foreign intelligence services could hack her personal phone and make it a bug (Eugene, 2016). • 41. Presidential Elections: Obama Vs. Barack Obama Topic 1: Presidential Elections There are many similarities between both the 2008 and 2016 elections that took place. In both of these situations, whether it was President Barack Obama defeating Senator John McCain in 2008, or President Donald Trump winning over Hillary Clinton in 2016, there are similarities between both of these races. Whether these similarities are being unconventional politicians, or appealing to the people, these are what caused both Presidents to defeat their more traditional political opponents. The 2008 Election– John McCain vs. Barack Obama: In November of 2008, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama ran against each other in what has been considered to be a historical race, as the outcome was that the first African American Presidential candidate would become President. One of the big questions that came after this race was why did Barack Obama beat John McCain? Senator McCain, a Republican from Arizona, who fought in the Vietnam war was taken Prisoner . He has proven that he has the ability to cater to any audience and create a unified atmosphere, through his ability to take on several different personas. He takes on the character of being authoritative, a drive for change, and also a person who has been historically ignored. (Jenkins, K. B., & Cos, G.) Firstly, Obamacare is called "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act", but it is usually called, "ACA". Before I go into further detail regarding ACA, there is a big misconception regarding Obamacare. Obamacare is a health insurance reform, not healthcare reform. Also, Obamacare and ACA are the same things. Firstly, ACA was effective on March 23 2010, as a health insurance reform. The ACA required every citizen in the United States to have health insurance by the year 2014. The reason for this is that they can balance a number of healthy people to sick people, so they can keep the premiums down for everybody. Also, the ACA requires all corporations with 50+ employees to pay for their female employees birth control. For my seminar, I hope to accomplish a court trial seminar. • 55. Obama Authority Max weber identified three types of authority found in social organizations. These three are traditional authority, legal– rational authority, and charismatic authority. The authority that I believe closely represents our president is legal– rational authority which is defined as "authority based on laws, rules, and procedures, not in the heredity or personality of any individual leader. Modern presidencies and parliaments are built upon this type of authority " (Ferris, 2014). I believe President Obama is recognized mostly for this because what he does is based on what the laws say, his presidency is not based on his emotions. It's built upon what the people want and what they believe he can do for the country. Along with the president being legal–rational authority you could also say he is charismatic authority which is defined as "authority based in the perception of remarkable personal qualities in leader" (Ferris, 2014). I only believe he is partially charismatic authority because during election season he promised things he would do during his presidency in order to gain popularity and get people to vote for him, if the American population ...
