19. Change your Google Account password
To change your Google Account password, go to the
change your password page.
Remember that changing your Google Account
password changes it for all Google products you use,
like Gmail and YouTube, so be sure to use your new
password the next time you sign in.
35. When uploading you have two options under the SETTINGS button:
Option 1: Allows for editing online if checked below
Option 2: Leave this area blank & the file is stored
in its native format.
52. When you click the “Can
edit” button, these are
your options:
(Users can edit & share)
(Users can view & comment, but can’t edit)
(Users can see, but can’t edit or comment)
**REMEMBER: When you click the SEND button to
send an email, it will populate in that person’s
GAGGLE account for now. The file will show up in
your Drive list when you log in.
Google Apps in Education- are domain managed accounts for students and teachers
Google apps-paid apps that live outside the domain; require some type of device
Google Apps for Education are work well with the Chrome Browser, but will operate on the other browsers.
Click the Upload button and Select Files
Find the file that we asked you to download from an email and save to your Desktop
Select the file from your Desktop or Drag it into your Drive will also work
At this point you have the option to share the file, but we will SHARE a FILE later so Click the X button to close.
Your file or folder should be listed in the middle of your screen.
Click in the area to Name your document
You will see it appear at the top of your Doc
Remember all changes are saved in the Drive automatically
Select Specific people and Click SAVE
Anyone you share a file or folder with will see changes made as they happen so that everyone can be on the same page and you can get feedback quickly.
Comments are made in real-time. Thus, I can see what Cole is typing or others that I have shared the file with. You can change your font color so that each person’s comment is a different color.
You can turn on the chat option beside of the aviator if you prefer to chat with others working on the file.
