1. How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
My main product I believe that it is more effective than the ancillary texts this is not
because it is a moving picture, I put more of my time and effort into creating the main
product, the ancillary texts I struggled with as I had never created a poster or
magazine cover before, so I found it more difficult than the main product as I had
already created a movie/used imovie before. I think together both my main product
and my ancillary texts work together well and are very effective in showing the main
character and the genre of the film also the main storyline, you can tell the main
character is possession of some sort. I confess that I did not spend that long on my
media prints because I was running out of time for my deadline.The media prints only
took one session and I do not believe that I created them to my best ability this is
because I was unable to spend a lot of time on them as I had spent most of my time
trying to film, this slowed me down too much and caused me to spend as much time
on my other coursework.

2. How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
I created the media prints on Photoshop on the mac this is the only app I
could already use and was able to create the prints, although I did not spend
as much time on them as I would of liked I am still happy will the result of
what I have created.The combination of my main product and ancillary
texts are very effective because I used the main actress in both of them and
used the same costume for both this made it more realistic and also I
covered her in blood this can set off the tone for the trailer and the audience
can figure out for themselves that it is a horror or thriller genre and this is
effective also because the audience will be attracted to the film of magazine
cover this is because they will be wondering ‘how did she get blood on her?’
‘is she the protagonist or antagonist?’ ‘why has she got dilated pupils?’. I
believe both of my products will attract a wide range of audience because of
how effective they are and how the aim at different people, because in the
trailer it shows the vulnerable-ness of the girls, also it shows about Djinn’s, It
has some scary scenes and also shows the possessed person before and
during when the spirit is taking over her body and mind, controlling her.
