2. The movie opening sequence that I have shot goes
towards the genre of suspense and drama, naming
it “shadow”.
Usually in these kind of movies, where prostitutes
are shown, they are shown as fat or really thin,
drug consuming, also roaming around in streets
for men and indulging in cheap acts.
3.
4. I have shown that the woman is so despeate, she
doesn’t have any means of living and she is dying
of hunger and has so many problems and
depressions so as when she recieves such an offer,
she accepts it without thinking even once.
Also this another movie named “talaash” has been
very inspiring. I have used it’s song too as my
opening sequel.
5. Firstly, my movie challenges the conventions in a
way that it is a prostitute starred movie, and how
she sees someone and reflects back at her
memories as to how ragged and poor she used to
be and then she found this path and became so
rich, but this thought made her sad, she doesn’t
like herself, what she has made of herself.
In most movies women are happy doing their job
and are shown as if they have hearts of stone.
6. I have shown that the girl, is poor, helpless and in
need. She gets an offer to fulfill her dreams and
stomach. She accepts it in the blink of an eye,
without much thinking about its consequences.
In most movies, prostitutes become prostitutes
because they are in need. No body actually takes it
as a job and loves doing it so yes, my movie goes
with the conventions too.
I have also shown gaudy make-up, which is the
stereotype as for the prostitutes.
7. I believe my media product will catch the attention of
middle-aged women also teenagers as it is a drama-
filled movie. It may also attract men who love such
movies. They may also like my movie because this is a
social issue and it has a good moral and so it will make
the audience smile when they come out of the
cinemas. As it has a sentimental touch to it, it is sure to
touch many hearts and so I have assumed it to be a
movie for everyone, except children under 13 years, as
it has such a discrete topic.
8. I believe that my product could do really well in
the business. I would reach out to the paramount
pictures productions and ask them to help me
distribute it. As the paramount pictures is a kind of
production who allows almost all genre movies
unlike disney.
I know, with only my name as a production
company wont bring the effect on the audience
and box office as much it would bring by the name
of paramount pictures, and so I would completely
try to utilize it.
9. As you can see that my actress is wearing a
black colored dress, this has a lot meaning for
the movie. As the color black depicts
emptiness, darkness, something bad or evil as
well as sexiness.
And it is visible that the girl is doing something
bad, something she shouldn’t be. It says that
her life is like an empty vessel, her body
soulless enough. This sows the amount of
darkness the woman has drowned into.
10. On the top she has been made to put on alot of
make-up, foundation, lipstick and dark eye
makeup which reflects that she is hiding the
sadness out of her face by covering it.This
make-over and her outfit has a real role in what
she feels and does. The way the girl is,
expressionless most of the time, these all are
signs which leds the audience to think that she
is not happy but then again life has to go on..

14. This project has genuinely made me improve
my production skills. The main reason for it
being that I had another plot and story in my
mind and I was shooting it, I had also shot 2
scenes of it when I realized It wasn’t coming
out the way I had pictured in my head.
One thing I have learnt is that what we picture
doesn’t always show up the way we want. And
so I redid the whole shoot, constructing a
different plot and producing another story into
picture.
15. I learnt that producing is way more difficult
than it looks, even though our pictue was just
of 2 minutes een then it took us 2 weeks to
execute it all. From the storyline till the editing
and the last submission, little things came up
which could make my project better and so I
had to edit again. I learnt how to manage time,
how to fulfill commitments and most
importantly how to keep my actors happy as
without them it wouldn’t have been possible.
16. I was null at producing or using the camera,
through my media classes and practice I learnt
different camera angles, how to handle the
camera, and how to shoot with unique
techniques. For this our media teache has been
very supportive to us, guiding us all along.
And now im sure if not much, my productions
skills have surely improved a little.
17.
18. For the shooting of the film, I used a nikon dslr
camera with a tripod, which proved to be very
user-friendly to me.
I had to search through a lot of editing soft wares
to find the best and easy one. And at last I used the
windows movie maker and it was very easy and
feasible and thus I enjoyed editing my video. I also
used the wonershare video editor for different
options.
All in all I have learnt and experienced a lot from
this project.
