2. Text
This font is quite bold
which would suggest to
my target audience that
the genre of music is a
statement and it is a
reference to originality,
standing out from the
crowd.The text is also not
very neat which
could suggest that
the genre of music
is a contrast to
normality.
3. Text
The end of the word looks as
though it has almost melted
which could link with my idea of
burning a polaroid.
The text is otherwise
very much normal
which could be a
contrast to the genre
and imply that there is
more than it seems
behind the surface.
I will use this as my font
for my artist to imply that
there may be something
beyond the surface giving
the music a USP as it
appears as though the
artist may have something
unique about him.
4. Tex
t
The text is very cramped
which could support the
idea of my genre as it is
supposed to allow people
to express their emotions,
therefore as the text is
cramped it could signify the
emotions that could be
cramped inside the target
audience and the music has
the aim to relieve it.
The text has gothic
undertones due to
the T which looks as
though it has
vampire fangs. This
would support the
background I am
going to use for my
album which will be
a misty field to
connote mystery.
This will be used for my album title as it
matches the theme of the background picture
โ mysterious. Furthermore as the text links to
the ability for freedom of expression meaning
it would be suitable for the chosen target
audience and genre.
5. Text
This text looks quite fancy which
could appeal to the
middle/upper class. However, it
could also be seen as kind of
childish due to the jolted use of
the text.
The textโs childish theme
could also link to a gothic
horror as it is similar text
that could be used in
horror films, written by
children. This would suit
the theme of my genre as
it would seem mysterious
and with this text the
mystery would be
intensified.
