education and what might get you through life with a comfortable living, without a 4 year degree. It

For this week's discussion in Module One, I reviewed a local daycare center company my mother
works for. The company is a sole proprietorship and is very small. Although, the women who runs
the company takes care of everything, such as the accounting, marketing, and human resource
departments altogether, with some input from within the company, and runs a very structured
company. All the various departments she takes care of do tend towards the same goals and all the

Similarly, life without any sense of individualism and no self–success stories is not what is best for
humankind and the community and that is defined as indifference. What is indifference? "A strange
and unnatural state in which the lines blur between light and darkness, dusk and dawn, crime and
punishment, cruelty and compassion, good and evil" (Wiesel 5). Simple indifference can ruin any
relationship, including a community. If a community remains committed to success and the
individuals included in the community are committed to succeeding on both a personal and global

Wherefore, it seems to be that while keeping individualism, one must at the same time balance their
