This risk assessment document identifies potential hazards and precautions for an outdoor school filming project. It outlines hazards such as cars in the drive through area, steps that could cause tripping, and poles that could cause injury. Precautions include filming away from cars and hazards, watching steps while walking backwards, and looking where people are walking. The emergency procedures specify notifying a staff member, preferably one with first aid training, in case of any serious injuries. Contact numbers for emergencies are also recommended.

Outside the school grounds
there is a car drive
through where cars come
through and someone could
get run over.
We will prevent this
hazard by making sure
there are no cars around
and also not filming where
the cars go.
If this hazard occurs we
will alert a member of
staff nearby, preferably
from the reception as they
will have first aid
training.
Outside there are some
high steps that we could
trip over if we are
videoing and one of us our
walking backwards we might
fall backwards.
We will prevent this from
happening by making sure
that we watch our steps.
If this happens we will
see if there ok and help
them up if it’s a serious
accident they we will go
to a member of staff.
Outside there are poles
and one of us can either
kick are leg in to it by
accident or if someone
walks in to it without
looking where they are
going.
We will prevent this by
looking where we walk and
to be careful where we
move are legs.
If this does happen then
we will either just help
them up but if something
serious happens then we
will get someone to come
and help, a member of
staff would be the best
person to come and help.

Be careful of little kids
in the primary school if
we are videoing we need to
make sure all the kids are
out the way.
We can prevent this from
happening by either
videoing it when they go
or just video it away from
them.
If a kid gets in the way
of us and hurts themselves
then we will ask if there
alright if it’s a serious
accident then we will go
to a member of staff or
help them ourselves.
