at Bharat pumps & compressors ltd. Allahabad. Currently
holding responsibility as Application/Execution Sr. Engineer
Compressor Design with 8 years of professional experience in
sizing of Reciprocating compressor.

Responsibilities:  To make the planning for sizing best suitable as well economical
compressor model
 Preparation of technical specifications for bought out finished
items enquired for Compressor such as lube oil pumps cooling
water pumps, condensate pumps, gas filters, gear box ,coupling
v- belts ,gas/diesel engine ,non return valve ,air cooled heat
exchangers
 Technical evaluation and scrutiny of supplier’s offers and
preparation of data/document required to carry out pulsation
study of compressor as per API 618.
 Torsional vibration Analysis calculation of compressor driver
system.
 Preparation of P&Id's for gas, lube oil, cooling water and
capacity control systems. Carrying out mechanical pulsation
study from foreign vendors for compressor installation as per
API 618
 Preparation of technical quotations as per the relevant codes,
standards and technical discussion with clients to finalize
various technical sections and scope of supply
 Vendor selection, bid evaluation and procurement support

2.  Finalization of suitable motor power for reciprocating
compressor.
 Preparation of General arrangement drawing
Nature of
work:
1. Preparation of technical & commercial offer of the package
Compressors Instrumentation equipments, Replies of client’s
queries, technical discussions etc, at pre-order (proposal) stage
and post order stage.
2. Study of PR and preparation of cylinder, Volume bottle, Frame,
KODs specification for procurement of Mechanical items related to
compressors.
3. Purchase file scrutiny, offer evaluation of cylinder, valves, frame,
piping fittings as per client PR and specification.
4. Arranging back up offers from various suppliers for major items
viz. Engine, Compressor valves, Panels, etc. of the package.
