Studies
• Earth’s land and ocean currently absorb about half of all
carbon dioxide emissions from the burning of fossil fuels,
but it’s uncertain whether the planet can keep this up in
the future. NASA’s Earth science program works to
improve our understanding of how carbon absorption and
emission processes work in nature and how they could
change in a warming world with increasing levels of
emissions from human activities

3. Republic Act. No. 9003 Solid Waste
Management Act.
• In this Republic Act. No. 9003 Solid Waste Management Act. They want to
ensure the protection of public health and environment also to ensure the
proper segregation, collection, transport, storage, treatment and disposal of
solid waste through the formulation and adoption of the best environmental
practice in ecological waste management excluding incineration. According to
this Republic Act. Article II Section 12 City and Municipal Solid Waste
Management Board. Each city or municipality shall form a City or Municipal
Waste Management Board that submit a plan about sanitary and safe
management of solid waste under their geographic and their jurisdiction

4. •Waste management simply means the
collection, transport, processing or disposal,
managing and monitoring of waste materials to
minimize its' consequences on humans and
environment. There are several methods of
managing all the various types of waste. Some
of these methods cause additional harm to the
environment, but not doing anything is not an
option
