2. YOUR CAR’S DASHBOARD
Today, many of your car’s functions
are governed by a computer located
within the vehicle. This computer is
responsible for various safety and
diagnostic features throughout your
car.
Imagine if big named brands like
Apple and Google created a
partnership between a car
manufacturer and place their devices
(tablets) into the center of the steering
wheel.
3. BENEFITS
Cars could connect to Wi-Fi spots or
networks that will allow the car to
connect to the Internet like a
smartphone does.
These new features would allow
your vehicle to provide many
services that a smartphone would
normally require.
There would also be quicker access
to information like traffic data,
weather, store hours and much
more.
4. ACCESS
There would be a vast number of
applications that each car would have
access to. For example, Pandora and
even online streaming video services
like Netflix.
Vehicles would include a more
modern entertainment system for
passengers. Some will include
screens that face the back of seats
that will allow passengers to watch
movies or TV shows.
5. DISTRACTIONS
There are many risks of becoming
distracted while driving.
Safety features must be built in to
prevent accidents. There’s already
a type of technology that prevents
the driver from touching the
dashboard while driving.
6. VOICE RECOGNITION
Drivers will speak their commands to get
the information they need and also to use
the vehicle’s control system.
This will allow the driver to hear voice
messages, text messages, social network
updates, today’s news, weather, and emails while driving to their destination.
