This document describes a demonstration of the human digestive system by cutting food into pieces, adding saliva to begin breaking it down, pouring the mixture into a bag representing the stomach where muscles mix it with gastric juices, then squeezing the mixture through nylon to represent absorption in the small and large intestines before the remaining waste exits through a hole, simulating the entire digestion process.
