2. CURRICULUM
The Senior High School Program of
Universidad De Sta. Isabel follows the
curriculum set by the Department of
Education with the integration of
Vincentian Spirituality and Community
Extension Service aligned with the
mission and vision of the institution.
3. EVALUATION
It is done through various processes
and measures appropriate to and
congruent with learning competencies
defined in the SHS curriculum.
The Scholastic Achievement/ Personal
growth are evaluated. For academic
evaluation, students receive a
numerical grade.
6. RETENTION/ PROMOTION
❖ A final grade of 75 or higher in all
learning areas allows the student to
be promoted to the next grade level.
❖ Student with failing mark on three
subject areas are retained in the
same grade level.

❖ A student who failed in a pre-
requisite subject in a learning area
must pass a remedial class for failed
competencies in the subject before
being allowed to enroll in the higher
level subject. Otherwise, the learner
must retake the subject.

the end of the semester must pass a
remedial class for failed
competencies in the subjects to be
allowed to enroll in the next
semester. Otherwise, the learner

subjects or learning areas in
Senior High School to earn the
Senior High School Certificate.
11. REPORT CARD
❖ Form 138 or the Report Card is
the school’s official report to the
student and parents/ guardian
regarding school performance.

❖ Report Cards of students with
failing marks at the end of the
quarter is printed and received
by the parents after an
individual conference with the
class adviser.

❖ All students get the hard copies
of their report card at the end of
the school year.

The school year is divided into two
semesters. Each semester is
divided into two quarters where
examination is given.

examination, the student
presents an examination permit
issued by the Accounting Office
after settling financial obligations.

❖Special exams may be given one week
after the regular exam schedule. A
medical certificate (for those who
have been sick) and exam permit (for

be presented.

❖Students should take the
performance tasks on its assigned
schedule.

take the performance task on the
assigned date is subject to the
consideration set by the teacher.

VOUCHER’S PROGRAM?
Qualified learners who fall under the following categories need
not to apply for the SHS VP since they are considered
automatically qualified already. These learners are assured that
they can avail of their vouchers for Grade 11 in SY 2021-2022:
✔ Learners who completed/will complete Grade 10 in SY 2020-
2021 in DepEd public schools;
✔ Learners who completed/will complete Grade 10 in SY 2020-
2021 in SUCs and LUCs; and
✔ Learners who completed/will complete Grade 10 in SY 2020-
2021 in private schools who are ESC grantees.
31. WHO QUALIFIES IN THE SHS
VOUCHER’S PROGRAM?
Voucher application for incoming Grade 11 learners
who completed Grade 10 in private junior highs
schools, who are not grantees under the DepEd ESC
Program will open upon the announcement of such
opening by DepEd once DepEd receives additional
funding from the Department of Budget and
Management or upon the existences of other
circumstances that may allow DepEd to
accommodate more voucher program beneficiaries.

Vouchers shall be redeemed in the
first semester of the school year.
⮚ Shall no longer be valid if not redeemed in
the said period
⮚ The voucher covers two years regardless
of the number of years it takes the
recipient to complete SHS
