On the pervious slide is two magazine adverts the one on the left is my own first
draft on a magazine advert, and on the left is Taylor Swifts, I have looked at many
different adverts from female solo pop artists and have took inspiration from all of
them when planning to create my own. I have found many similarities and
differences with them all and looked at what they all have in common in order to
make sure mine looks good and like a real magazine advert. My first draft I have
created has been mainly inspired by Taylor Swift advert. The draft is a vague idea
of what I want my final advert to look like. In order for mine to look like a magazine
advert there are some changes I am going to make to it. Although Taylors advert
has a dull grey (ish) back ground I am going to change mine to a lighter colour as to
me at the moment it doesn't’t look like a pop artist advert, I may use a white back
ground so the red on her dress and the text really stands out, I am going to keep
the shot the same as I really think it fits well. The magazine is going to have a lot
more detail for example what date the album is released across the bottom, I am
also not 100 percent sure on how her name is along the sides, so I am going to
change it too across the top and ask people in my class to tell me which one they
would prefer themselves. and at the bottom corner of the magazine there is going
to be a imagine of the album as having researched lots of different adverts they all
have this in common. Hopefully with these changes my magazine will stand out
and look more like something in a magazine.
