 Titanic is one of the films that have inspired me and my
partner. We are doing a flash back in our film and we
wanted to look how films such as Titanic flash back.
 After analysing The flash back in Titanic we realised
they cut to a close up of the ‘old woman’s face, she
closes her eyes. Then looks up into a corner, closes her
eyes again, they then cut to black then to the younger
version of her . I think it looks successful but I think me
and my partner are maybe looking to do something a bit
more creative.
 The Notebook use a different technique
compared to Titanic when flashing back but its
still creative.
 We see a zoom in on Ali and Noah’s face the
facial expressions are quite dazed which backs
up the dialogue, sort of like they’re in day
dream, then whilst dialogue is being said
 Non-diegetic music starts then a couple of
seconds later, it cuts back to the old days.
 Then the same again when they flash back out.
