W/S – Door in a dark room slightly opened,
letting in sliver of light through gap.
M/S – Computer in the same dark room,
white screen lighting up the room slightly,
camera zooming in slowly.
C/U – Alarm clock in a bedroom going off, [ Alarm Going Off ]
camera focused on the clock with everything
else out of focus, clock reads ‘9 am’.
M/S – Camera looking at the back of a news- [ In recent news, hundreds of people have
paper, protagonist reading it ‘hiding’ behind, been disappearing over the pastfew days.
shot stays on the newspaper until the news - Officials still unsure what is casing this,
report in the background finishes. but it is thought that the revelation of… ]
M/S – Back of protagonist as he is putting on
his jacket, before opening the doorand
leaving the house.
W/S – Protagonist in the distance walking
down an empty street.
M/S – Right side of protagonist as he
continues to walk until he comes to a stop and
stands still, camera slowly pans until it is over
the shoulder of the protagonist.
Over Shoulder (O/S) – Right shoulder of
protagonist looking forward at the bodies on
the floor, another personapproaching the area
in the distance, and when they get close they
stop as well.

C/U – Camera pointed at the face of the
bystander looking at the bodies, face on the
left of the screen.
C/U – Camera pointed at the face of the
protagonist, as he looks at the bystander.
O/S – Shoulder of protagonist, as we see the [ Sound Effects as Flashback Starts ]
bystander slowly fall to the ground, focus on
bystander.
M/S – Panning as audience sees the same
bystander gardening in one of the houses near
by.
W/S – Back to the door in the dark room, still
slightly opened as before.
M/S – From behind protagonist and his friend
sitting on a bench at the park, drinking
something.
M/S – Right side of protagonist capturing
both their faces as they laugh, followed by
focusing into friends’ face as he slowly
stops laughing and his face turns into a
concerned look.
M/S – From protagonist’s view, as he looks at
his friend who is now on the floor.
M/S – Camera looking up at protagonist with
sad look on his face trying to get help,
bystanders approaching the scene.

M/S – Showing the bystander who is now on [ Sound Effects of Flashback Fade Out ]

C/U – Protagonist’s face, on the right of the
screen, followed by a short nod, and he walks
towards and past the camera.
[ A Few M/S and W/S of Protagonist [ …an item that many describe as a
Walking Down a Few More Empty Streets, computer in a dark room. It is still unclear

W/S – (Dissolve to separate montage from [ Sigh ]

the same bench, drinking water alone.
Another bystander walks up to the bench and
sits next to him and lets out a sigh.
M/S – Left of the stranger that sat down. [ So… You too huh. ]
The protagonist tilts his head slightly in the
direction of the stranger, and gives a slow
nod.
W/S – Front of the two as they sit there,
protagonist taking another sip, and they both
sit in silence for a few seconds.
M/S – Right of the protagonist, the stranger [ Well, think about it before you do it,
speaks and then stands up slowly. alright? It might not be too bad. ]
W/S – Stranger now standing, speaks and [ Perhaps we’ll meet again. I’ll be going
then walks off to the left. Protagonist is left now. ]
sitting and pondering life for a few seconds,
and after the short time he too gets up and
walks away, the oppositeway.

W/S – Behind protagonist, walking back up
the street towards his house, now completely
empty, no bodies on the floor.
M/S – Left side of protagonist, as he turns
his head slightly, looking at where the
bodies used to be, camera following his head
as he turns his head whilst walking.
M/S – Front of protagonist, as he walks
towards the camera whilst the shotslowly
fades to white.
C/U to M/S – Camera zooms out of a white
screen, till it is far enough that we can see
the computer.
C/U – Protagonist’s face, sitting down and lit
up by the bright white light coming from the
screen, followed by camera panning to the
right revealing the doorbehind him.
M/S – From the doorlooking at the [ Creak of Door ]
protagonist sitting at the computer, as he
slowly turns his bodyto face the
camera/door, which creaks before cutting
back to the real world.
C/U – Alarm clock in a bedroom going off, [ Alarm Going Off ]
camera focused on the clock with everything
else out of focus, clock reads ‘9 am’.

walks away from the shot, revealing the

O/S – As main protagonist is opening the [ How’s it going! I’m Gabriel. ]
door, which he takes a breather before doing
so, and when he opens a man is outside and
begins speaking.
O/S – Of Gabriel, as he continues to speak. [ I see you choseto stay behind huh? ]
C/U – Protagonist with a kind of [ I’m gathering a small group of people
disinterested look, listening to the Gabriel who choseto stay too, want to come
speak. along? ]
O/S – Of main protagonist again as the two [ You won’t be losing anything. ]
stand there in silence for a second, before the
Gabriel finishes.
W/S – Behind the two walking down the [ You know, usually when I find people
deserted street. who chosenot to go they are usually
pondering life or grieving. You don’t
seem to be doing either. ]

M/S – Left side of protagonist, as Gabriel [ Or maybe I’m wrong. ]
turns his head slightly and takes a look at
him for a second, then looking forward and
speaking again.
W/S – Back to this shot as they continue to
walk down the empty street.
M/S – (After Dissolve) The two finally get to
their destination, but the protagonist
stops to take a look.
W/S – From protagonist’s perspective,
looking at the people gathered in the distance
talking and enjoying themselves.
M/S – In front of Gabriel who is slightly [ Whatever you’ve gone through, we’ve
ahead but stops when he realizes the halt, all seen it happen. ]
takes a look at the floor, slightly turns his
head and speaks.
M/S – Gabriel speaking over a shot of the [ We all knew it was going to end
doorin the dark room, which is slightly more somehow, and it looks like this is it. ]

M/S to C/U – Camera zooming into [ The only difference is you can chooseto
computer while Gabriel continues to speak. wait for your time, or leave whenever you
feel like it. ]
C/U – Of protagonist’s face, on the right of [ So. What will it be? ]

C/U – Of protagonist’s face once again,
as he looks down and takes a deep breath,
and it quickly fades to the next shot.
C/U – Right side of protagonist looking
towards the computer for a few seconds.
C/U – Left side of protagonist looking
towards the doorfor a few seconds.
C/U – Of protagonist who is looking down,
and the camera slowly zooms out to a fade
to black, symbolizing the end of the short
film.
