This is our group presentation on the 21st century education pillar, Project-based learning.

 Teaching method where students gain
knowledge and skill by working for an
extended period of time to investigate
and respond to a engaging and complex
question, problem, or challenge.

3.  Helps develop skills for living in a
knowledge-based, and highly technological
society.
 Allows the student to take more control of
their learning.

4.  Requires the use of both fundamental skills
(math, reading, writing) and 21st century
skills (teamwork, problem-solving, and
research gathering)
 It promotes student success by requiring
specific life-long skills (decision making,
responsibility)

How: Students would receive instruction on
how to assemble a robot, and collaborate
with other classmates to build their own
using new technology.
 21st Century tools used: collaboration,
creativity, time management, problem
solving, and mechanics

7.  As future educators we think that it is
important to push students to their max
potential. We believe that is achieved using
project-based learning. We have learned the
importance of developing skills such as
collaboration, problem solving, and creativity.
