5. Advanced Data Logger (ADL) – RTU
ADL collects analogue input (0-10V or 4-20mA) from different sensors (like pressure, temperature, etc). Collected
data is processed by 16-bit ADC. Converted data is sent to the custom developed server software through GPRS or
SMS for logging and remote monitoring. Data sent to the server is also logged on the encrypted flash present in ADL
for backup. On-board USB host controller is used to retrieve the backup data.
ADL consists of
- 16-bit ADC module (channel to channel isolation, analog isolation present on board)
- 12-bit DAC module
- Digital input module
- Potential free digital output
- GSM/GPRS modem for telemetry transfer of data
- GPS modem for location tracking of ADL
- USB host controller for manual data transfer from ADL
- LiFePO4 battery and charger
- Power supply
Parameters like sampling rate, transmission rate of data to server, channel specification, device strength, etc can be
remotely configured and monitored through server software or a mobile phone using our proprietary command set.
6. Calorimetric Device
Medical device for ENT doctors to carry out Vertigo test with ease.
This device consists of
- Heating coil for heating water at 30 deg or 44 deg
- Temperature sensor
- LCD display
- MSP430 based controlling circuit
Challenges faced:
- Pre-defined water temperature needs to be maintained throughout the test.
Above was resolved by implementing a feedback algorithm (PID - proportional–integral–derivative) to maintain the
set temperature
7. Client
IR Sensor
IR sensor is a CE certified product used in interactive
display application. It is a field mounted sensor with
built-in IR illumination source, controlling circuit and
an IR camera for motion sensing feedback.
End to end product devel0pment was done by our team.
Challenges faced:
Apart from implementing 1-wire digital interface to
control all the IR LEDs through led driver Ics, our team
had to work on the complete engineering design of the
product. It helped us set our product apart from
conventional sensors available in the market.
Application:
Interactive and Media
Security and Surveillance
8. Client
Wireless Remote
RF Module Generic transceiver module has been
designed around CC430 SoC from Chipcon
with onboard chip antenna. Modular
Wireless Remote installed in approach has been taken to increase the
classrooms for Students usability in various RF applications.
Features:
- CPU Active Mode (AM): 160 µA/MHz
- 100 m range in open space
- Wide supply voltage range: 1.8 V to 3.6 V
- Programmable data rate from 0.6 kBaud to 500 kBaud
- CRC Handling
- Support for Automatic Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) Before Transmitting (for Listen-Before-Talk Systems)
- Support for Asynchronous and Synchronous Serial Receive/Transmit Mode for Backward Compatibility With
Existing Radio Communication Protocols
Challenges faced
Establish communication between remotes and access point
9. Client
Sumit Mixers
Capacitive Sensing and motor control circuit
Device has been designed using Cypress Capsense controller.
Capsense is the heart of this device. We have successfully
replicated all the functionalities present in any mixer like
ON/OFF, Whip and Speed control.
Motor control circuit consists of a Triac board and Power
board. Power board is a transformerless power supply
designed around LNK306.
Challenges faced:
Waterproofing of the board and AC voltage range matching
Capacitive Sensing board for speed adjustment as per the requirement
- Strict board layout guidelines by Cypress and appropriate
changes in the firmware helped us achieve waterproofing.
-Range matching was done by careful calculation of LC
network values
10. Client
Unanomote
Unanomote Controller is a unique motion based
learning device used to enhance game based learning
This controller has
- Rotation chip (9 Degrees of freedom) Prototype Device
- USB and Bluetooth connectivity
- Force feedback motor
- Bend sensor
- Pressure pad
- Vibration motor
11. Client
Backlight LED driver and Backlight Power
measurement
Objective was to control the LED Backlight for TFT LCD
and measure the power consumption.
Execution - We designed backlight LED driver for TFT
LCD along with control to vary the intensity and current
gauge to measure the current passing through the supply
to the LED driver.
System integration of mini-itx motherboard, battery pack,
power supply and LED backlight was done as a proof of
concept for client. Customized embedded windows was
ported on the for the demonstration unit.
12. Client
Smart Shopping Cart and Wireless POS
A sophisticated capacitive touch-screen enabled, ATOM based handheld
device placed on the handle of a shopping cart. Product help engage
shoppers and brands by providing highly contextual targeted content
(like ads, recommendations, tips, recipes), based on cart’s location in the
store and shopper’s purchase history.
Indoor location positioning using active RFID and zigbee was integrated
in the product.

Understand & Incubate
We understand the problem definition, timeline, cost from the customer. Our service
offerings demand continuous customer interaction and working as partners with the
customer, so we incubate the customers into our eco-system. For example - giving
them access to our tools to track the project progress, internal portal access, etc.
Requirements Map
We extensively use mapping tools to create Requirements Map, then create Walk
through presentations on the requirements. Requirements Map is similar to drawing
sitemap, wired function map, explaining inter-relations between various elements of
the application and User Stories.
Application Engineering
This is where application architecture decided and requirements translates into
wireframes, component selection, design, framework and library is decided.
Design and Development
The structure is transformed into code, schematics, layout, user interface, fabrication,
deployment. We use our network of partners to complete the execution in few cases to
make sure professional quantity and expertise is employed for your first impression
on customers.
Delivery
Delivery is accompanied with support for understanding the documentation and
deliverables.
