and underloaded motors and react according to the respective

Reliable crane control
When the crane function is activated, parameters are automatically set to the respective hoisting and trolley functions.
These parameters can be more precisely adjusted to meet the needs of a particular application. The rotational speed
is automatically adjusted for lower loads (fast mode).

Controlled failure behaviour
Upon request, >pDRIVE< inverters can make attempts at minimizing damage in the event of system failures. The
inverter reacts to various types of failures, such as external or process failures, with an alarm, switching off or with
sending a digital signal to a PLC. >pDRIVE< takes no risk!

Protective emergency operation
The safety of the personnel is always more important than the protection of the inverter. In emergency situations
the >pDRIVE< MX deactivates several inverter protection functions in order to provide adequate personal protection.

Automatic balance control
If several inverters operate on the same load, a load balance process is essential because unavoidable inaccuracies
can arise even with speed-controlled devices. The >pDRIVE< balance control either produces an internal correction
signal or processes the reference value of an external control unit.

Economical braking method
>pDRIVE< frequency inverters are equipped with an internal “motor braking function” that provides braking power
without additional braking equipment. Alternatively, more stringent demands may require an external braking unit
that is reliably controlled and monitored by the >pDRIVE< MX.
