How Tutors Became Technophiles Through iPad Training

  • 2. Introduction • Purchased 20 iPads. • Intention to develop a more interactive and tactile way of working with students. • Tutors had little or no knowledge of using this technology. • Received some training from Jigsaw 24 that inspired the tutors.

Meaningful, Motivational & Inspiring  STAFF:  Recommendation from an internal inspection carried out by an Ofsted inspector.  Use specific software e.g. 3D Medical.  Increase IT access for students.  Develop flipped learning activities.  Transfer portfolios to E-portfolios.  STUDENTS:  Improved focus and engagement in lessons.  Development of higher order cognitive skills.  Improved discussion and teamwork.
