Background: Among various epithelial cancers, genomic studies of prostate cancer (PCa) identified
several molecular markers including E26 transformation specific (ETS) gene fusions, SPINK1 and
many others. The prevalence of these molecular markers in African American (AA) prostate cancer
has not been studied to the extent that has been studied for European American (EA) prostate cancer
to understand the racial disparity. Contrary to the conventional approaches, new approaches are
needed to understand the underlying genetic disparity between the AA and EA PCa. Therefore, we
have developed refined approaches to screen whole–mount radical prostatectomy tissues rather than
systematic sampling of tumor from dominant/index nodule to assess the fundamental molecular
differences in the incidence of molecular markers between AA and EA prostate cancer.
Hypothesis/Objective: Prostate molecular markers have been first discovered using the cancer
genome of individuals other than African American decent. Due to the lack of screening in a large
cohort of AA PCa the prevalence of these markers in AA PCa is not known. Given the fundamental
differences in the ancestral history of the genome of AA and EA the prevalence of these molecular
markers may be markedly different. Conventional systematic sampling approaches may not reveal
the true prevalence in AA PCa. Therefore, we propose to undertake an innovative approach using
whole–mount radical prostatectomy to understand the racial disparity.

workshop where a subject matter expert taught his brothers the history of the fraternity or the
different goals and themes of Leadership development. While this traditional approach to education
and development worked for decades to prepare some of the most amazing young men in America
and throughout the world for leadership, modernity offers an opportunity to drastically enhance the
outcomes of our flagship leadership development event.
This year, with the support of the Province Polemarch and Board of Directors, the committee hoped
to provide a leadership conference grounded with in a lens of collaboration and innovation. This
approach would provide the type of training that would engage members in outcome driven
innovation; we called this enhanced conference CRWLCX. Much like how the TEDX events that
have revolutionized the way people exchange information that supports leadership development,

The Importance of Innovation Architecture The importance of innovation architecture is to start with
a vision and generate a company platform designed of new processes, create an open–culture and
pursue a unique management system. All three of these components support and work well with
innovation architecture. Google, Netflix and Ikea have built a framework designed of new company
culture, management systems and process that have capitalized their business on innovation and
intrapreneurship.

Google has a unique approach of keeping an effective organization culture by keeping innovation
running and going through employee empowerment. According to an article from Forbes, Google's
secrets are empowering employees and creating as many channels as they can in order for
manifestation, distinguishing different people and ideas (Google 's Secrets of Innovation, 2013).
Furthermore, in order to create a strong culture Google has an open culture where employees have
the ability to directly email the company leaders. Hence, Google enriches their innovative leadership
by enhancing the ability to encourage interactions between top leaders and subordinates. Another
fascinating channel Google uses to boost company culture is through Google Cafes. Typically, when
employees have a place, topic and motive new ideas spur and innovative interactions are
