2. The romans
The romans came to
Spain in 218 BC and
stayed for nearly six
centuries. The romans
built many things:
roads, so people could
travel more easily, and
new towns . Roman
architecture is famous.

3. • Ancienrt Spanish didn´t have a very good diet, but
the Romans introduced new ways of cultivating,
like the olives, grafts…Varieties of cereals such as
wheat; among legumes is mentioned lentil, pea,
chickpea. Among the vegetables the cabbages were
highly praised.

4. • There are some things from Romans times that we
don´t do any more. The Romans had knives, but
they didn´t use a knife and forks to eat. They ate
with their fingers! Well, they ate soup with spoon!
