2. Characters
Mollie- MainProtagonist
Sophie- Co protagonist
Jess- Co protagonist
Clown- Antagonist
James – The boy who drowned
He is 7 and drowned in the 1980s, He is the reason the girls go to the lake 30 years later to
find out what happened.
Location
Plan A- Theale Fishing Lake, this is an ideal location as it is quite over
grown and derelict. However, it is hard to get into and maybe
difficult to film as it could be too overgrown. Therefore we have
planned a reserve choice.
Plan B- Englefield pine forest, this is a good location as you can easily
access it. In addition, the trees block out most of the sound of the
A340 and the A4, therefore emphasising the actors voices. However
it doesn’t have a lake which is vital to our narrative and it is not as
interesting as plan A.

3. Costumes
I would advise the Actors wear the following:
Mollie: Skinny jeans
Tight fitting top
Nike Trainers
Sophie: Quite Hippie clothing
Striped or coloured trousers
Polo neck and a knitted jumper
Jess: Baggy jeans
Baggy Top
Muddy trainers
James: School trousers to apply to the time period
A shirt or a plain T-shirt
School shoes
Clown: Traditional Clown costume
Props
Balloons are vital as they indicate the initial sense of danger,
they also relate to clowns.
Torches
Mobile Phone
4. Sound Track
In our Opening Sequence we will be using conventionally scary,
tension-building music.
In addition we will also be using sound effects such as:
Screams- To indicate pain
Laughter – Of the clown
Splashes – Demonstrates the lake setting and indicates
drowning.
Footsteps- To build tension
Heartbeat- To also build tension
Heavy breath- To indicate fear and panic
