Introduction
This paper will analyze Shriners Hospital for children, a non–profit hospital system owned by Shriners International, through the theoretical lens of
Bolman and Deals Leadership Frameworks (1997). This paper will define structural and symbolic aspects of the organization, analyze strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities and threats through structural assessment to identify growth and risk potential, and propose possible solutions for identified
issues.
Shriners Hospitals for Children is a non–profit hospital system that maintains 22 hospitals for children in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. 18 of
the hospitals provide orthopedic specialization; three hospitals focus on burn care, and one hospital offers burn, spinal, and orthopedic care. The first
hospital was opened in Shreveport Louisiana, in 1922 by Shriners International, a fraternal organization for men. The hospitals provide cutting edge

I still recall the many hours spent as a kid hitting a tennis ball against the drywall in my empty garage. Tennis has inspired much of my intrinsic growth
since then, both socially and mentally, developing two core values that I continue to adhere to today: persistence and making a substantial impact.

On August 22nd, 2016 was the first day of several students' journey to become radiology technicians. We all were nervous and excited to take our first

The radiology program is something I wanted to a part of since I was young. When I was 4 years old, I became a patient at Shriner's Hospital for
Crippled Children because I was born with a birth defect in both feet called Skew foot. Both of my feet were turning s shaped making it difficult
and painful to walk. For several years, doctors tried using inserts to straighten my feet, but it was not working. The radiologic technicians kept
taking images to monitor my progress, and if I continued this method, I would be in a wheelchair today. When I was 8 years old, it was first
decided I needed to have surgery. I had two surgeries and both were successful. From age 4 to 17 years old when I was released, I saw the radiology
technicians, nurses and doctors every six months to a year. I honestly believe if the technicians did not do as well of a job as they did, I would not be
walking today. I know they do not read the images, but since they take them it is very important everything is done correctly to obtain the best image
possible. If an x–ray was underexposed or overexposed, the doctors would not have been able to see the severity of my birth defects.

in this is an introduction to hip dysplasia, the problem with it, causes, treatments to hip dysplasia and the effects of having hip dysplasia.
First, hip dysplasia, hip dysplasia is where the pelvic bone is not properly in the hip socket. This can cause problems in walk creating pain. ?3–6 out of
1000 newborns have some form of hip dysplasia or dysplastic hips.?(Hawkins, Judy C) (Where the hips are shallow in the socket and this can develop
into DDH.) Hip dysplasia or DDH is 9% more common in girls. Also, ?2–3 out of every 1000 infants will require some sort of treatment for DDH 1

Marius's Life
Marius, a Romanian 8 year old boy, lived a life just as every other kid his age. He attended school, played with his friends and his dog, and helped
his family with chores. Once the accident occurred, life changed for Marius although he was always positive during his recovery process. Both of
Marius's parents died during the accident, however, he still had a large support system. This support came from both Marius's older sister and brother
who were not home at the time of the accident. Also, the interns at the hospital provided a large amount of help to Marius as did the interns' parents
and other family members. Shriners Hospital for Children in Los Angeles as well as all of the support from teachers, home tutors, and the translator,
Teodora, made the entire recovery process possible. So even though Marius did not have his parents, he still had an abundance of support and assistance.
The burns were so severe that they resulted in Marius being in a coma. Additionally, all ten of Marius's fingers were amputated and the skin from
his back was grafted onto his legs. Unfortunately, Marius's nose was basically all burned off so it appeared as if he had no nose. Also, the skin
around his eyes was burned, so he was unable to blink. The doctors feared Marius would lose his sight so they had to place a gel in his eyes in order
to hopefully maintain sight. The burns made it difficult for Marius to complete ADLs and it was months before he left bed and attempted to walk.

psychologist include determining whether the defendant was in a sane state of mind when he/she committed the crime. Evaluation reports, test reports,
and interviews are among the forms of technical writing in the forensic Psychologist/ Specialist career field. The study in forensic psychology is very
