We surveyed 25 people and found that:
- Younger people aged 16-17 preferred short news broadcasts aimed at their age group from stations like Radio 1
- They did not often intentionally listen to news and disliked long or irrelevant bulletins
- Females strongly disliked sports news and wanted brief daily updates and breaking news
- Males had little interest in sports or normal updates and preferred celebrity-focused news
- Older people preferred slightly longer 4-5 minute bulletins and listened to news more intentionally than younger people
