Projects:
· Avionics and Payload Design: Designed and built payload, avionics and launch control
system for a sub-sonic sounding rocket. It included GPS with wireless Trans-Receiver, flight
computers, cameras and various sensors to record data during the flight.
· Humanoid Motion Planning: Motion planning of a bipedal robot using Resolved Momentum
Control method. It involved using SolidWorks and MATLAB for simulation.
· Autonomous Rover: Designed and built an autonomous rover, based on Arduino controller,
that would scan for objects, navigate to them and return back to its original position after
collecting data. For path correction we used feedback control using a digital compass.
· Interactive Mechanical Systems Module: Designed and built a haptic paddle to simulate
behavior of electromagnets and a spur gear system, to help students understand concepts.
· Automation of Road Marking Machines: Designed system simulation on ARM 7 board, to be
attached to a paint-spray road marking machine. It automates the manual processes and
collects important data of the work.
