EX PERIENCE
INTERNSHIPS
Hewlett Packard Inc. Intern Design Engineer Summer 2016 – Fall 2016
Developed FPGA Prototyping Environment for easier Application Specific Integrated Circuit(ASIC) development. Used socket based
transaction protocol to send requests Linux development machine. Developed and integrated Linux driver for PCI-express to read
and write registers. Designed hardware non-ASIC specific to be reusable. Allows for CPU proxy models, and led to performance
increase by 10 million.
Designed RFID based security system for company Makerspace. Used C# to decode and Wiegand format and interface with card
reader. Interfaced with SQL employee database.
Texas Instruments Intern Applications Engineer Summer 2015 – Fall 2015
Developed software examples for MSP 432 and EDU MKII Booster Pack in C and assembly
Led a team of interns for TI innovation challenge as well as: designed schematic, laid out PCB, and micro-soldered components for a
battery-less NFC Energy Harvester Booster Pack for MSP MCU’s. Using a half bridge rectifier and LPM modes to make a board last
20 hours on a single charge.
Analyzed and Designed PCB and software changes to multiple MCU’s, packaged them with Make files and GIT to sync
Converted batch and shell scripts from Windows to MAC OSX
Advanced Micro Devices CO-OP Design Engineer Spring 2015 - Summer 2015
Improved and maintained internal tools used to parse information retrieved from models of cache
Used C++ and System Verilog to interact between abstract CPU and Cache models
Involved in writing functional coverage, directed tests, checkers, transactions and monitors. Assisted in debug and triage of bugs for
feature enablement
Analyzed and synthesized signal waves using Verdi
Precision Infinity Technical Customer liaison Fall 2013 – Fall 2014
Managed workflow and developers, debugged programs, designed concepts and GUI’s using balsamic, and liaised between
programmers and customers. Language used: ASP.NET
Went to client meetings, abstracted the essence for multiple projects
Handed off projects to developers, performed quality assurance
PROJECTS
Designed and built Internet of Things Raspberry Pi home automation system: lights, timing, alarms and pool cleaning
Designed a videogame world for Business Professionals of America. Used C++ and implemented OpenGL library
Led a team and water pressure sensor for IDEAS showcase
Led and designed system for Raspberry Pi/Arduino security system. Used Python and C. Finalist at University of Central Florida
Led a team of 6 students to design parking system that displayed real team data to android app. Designed sensor system using
ultrasonic sensors.
Led and designed Senior Design team to build telerobotic arm system. Designed PCB and control systems from scratch.
