Why CHOOSE US ?
ACADEMICS
• Montessori
The Montessori approach at Harvest
Cherubs is designed to help children
grow by letting them explore the world
around them. Our prepared environments
are carefully designed to encourage
your child’s innate zeal for learning,
allowing them opportunities to choose
from an array of purposeful activities
to work on.
CBSE
• We offer a robust and holistic
curriculum for learning at
Harvest that is curated around
the CBSE syllabus. Our
curriculum employs innovative
teaching strategies and
methodologies, enabling our
students to gain a deeper and
practical insight into their
education and the real world.
IB – PYP
Harvest International School is an authorized IB World
School offering PYP
• A student-centred approach to education for children
aged 3-12
• The Primary Years Programme (PYP) offers a
transdisciplinary, inquiry-based and student-centered
education with responsible action at its core,
enabling students to learn between, across and beyond
traditional subject boundaries.
• The framework serves as the curriculum organizer and
offers an in-depth guide to achieve authentic
conceptual inquiry-based learning that is engaging,
significant, challenging and relevant for PYP
students.
BENEFITS OF THE IB
• The IB enables students to direct
their own learning pathway and develop
the skills and confidence they need to
thrive and make a lasting difference.
It empowers teachers as the architects
of learning excellence, working
alongside engaged colleagues in a
rewarding career supported by a strong
global network. And it brings schools
a strong reputation for successful
outcomes that uplift the whole
community.
ONLINE CLASSES
We are using Microsoft Teams for Education from Grades 8 to 12 and
IB-PYP
• Harvest International’s Virtual Classrooms are supported by the Microsoft
Teams Platform and has now successfully completed over one year in online
schooling in the new world.
• The transition into the new normal has been a challenge for all of us,
students, parents and educators alike. During the entire paradigm shift to
online learning, teachers all over the world have faced several challenges.
• Adaptability
• Technical Issues
• Computer Knowledge
• Balancing Diverse Learning Needs
• Limitations of Standardized Testing
• Passive Students
• Limited communication with students
• These are a few to name. Facing the pitfalls of digital
learning may be discouraging and frustrating both for
teachers and students.
• However, in an attempt to overcome these obstacles,
teachers at Harvest are constantly undergoing training to
be in sync with the current needs of the online teaching
platform. Their open mindedness and willingness to learn
has mustered in them a knowledge and comfort in the use of
technology. It has helped them re-envision goals,
activities and assessments. This will help Harvest
International build a community of curious learners, by
facilitating discussions in the classroom and engaging them
in hands on activities in the comfort of their homes.
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
• Experiential learning is a process
whereby knowledge is created
through the transformation of
experience. Experiential learning
does just that. Our innovative lab-
classrooms have the right setting
and tools required for experiential
learning to take place. Our
teachers are trained to fade into
the background and let the learning
happen in the way it is supposed
to.
HOW IT WORKS ?
• The teachers acts as a facilitator in the
classroom, they present challenges to the class
and the students are allowed to tackle the
problems on their own. The facilitator’s role is
to guide the students as they are actively
learning from the results of their actions.
• Such experiential activities allow for students
to learn from their mistakes early in the
conceptual stage and therefore, allowing them
build strong foundations on new concepts.
LIFE SKILLS
• Life Skills are a set of multiple socio-emotional
competencies, attitudes, interpersonal skills and
intellectual abilities that aid individuals in making
informed decisions, communicating effectively,
empathizing with others, building healthy
relationships, solving problems, thinking critically
and creatively and managing their lives in a healthy
and productive manner.
• The Life skills program is not to be seen as another
subject but rather as a cross-discipline application
of knowledge, values and skills which play a crucial
role in the emotional, intellectual and interpersonal
Benefits Of Life Skill Program
• Life skills empower students to take
initiative and to contribute
positive value to their society.
• Encourages students to engage in
continuous learning.
• Educates students on protecting
themselves, mentally and physically.
• Life skills promote healthy habits
and positive social relationships.
SPORTS - HPE
• Harvest International’s HPE program adheres to
the standards set forward by the CBSE board and
the global standard of health and physical
education. We at Harvest, recognizes the
important role of a HPE program and its impact on
a student’s life.
• Health and Physical education provide students
with the knowledge, opportunities and skills that
will enable them to maintain an active, lifestyle
not only during their time in school but also
their entire life.
• It is scientifically proven
that a heathy and active
lifestyle actively benefits
our mental health.
• The HPE curriculum at Harvest
has been curated under the
expert guidance of
professional instructors and
health professionals, the
program consist of field
activities as well as
educational modules.
