It drags the attention of all the children. Link of the concept used can be posted in the shat box/Google Classroom to practice at their own place. Quizzes app is also very effective for online assessment and for immediate feedback. There's no limit to learning and the multidisciplinary educational approach mentioned in the NEP 2020 is the correct step taken towards promoting the same! Multidisciplinary education is a unique educational approach that allows the students to learn & explore distinct subjects from various disciplines. Innovative practices in online classrooms SUBJECT : PHYSICS Class: 11 B KV MINAMBAKKAM EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING AND INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH Topic: PROJECTILE MOTION Interdisciplinary learning in science is characterized as a perspective that integrates two or more disciplines into coherent connections to enable students to make relevant connections and generate meaningful associations. Understanding how projectile motion works is very beneficial in determining how to best propel an object. For the javelin throw, being able to calculate the different variables helps the athlete to develop a better technique for them personally in order to throw the longest distance. Often from looking at the projectile motion of an object, faults in other phases of the technique can be identified. The initial velocity of the javelin for example can be used as an indication of the amount of momentum created during the preparatory phase of the action. Often a low initial velocity is a result of a loss of momentum during this phase and so the technique needs to be altered hence improving the initial velocity. I try to make my students competent for any situation in life after schooling Innovative Teaching Method: One of my innovative teaching methods during online teaching is the dramatization of a lesson, ie, ANIMATION MOVIE MAKING, with the best possible utilization of technology and ICT which incorporates all skills like Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. It also enhances collaborative learning and group discussion through online platform. Creative and critical skills of the students are also being applied. Students work in group to read the lesson thoroughly, write dialogues, make animation movie, give voice over, edit it and present in the class. The lesson becomes interesting and comprehendible for them. The confidence level of the students will also be at the zenith. Application Based Objective To enable the students to (i) understand the values like generosity, love, understanding, trust, care, concern, redemption and confession (ii) understand an ‘Eye for an Eye will make the whole world blind’ (iii) show kindness as kindness is contagious (iv) develop LSRW Expected Learning Outcome Students will be able to (i) be compassionate and empathetic towards their fellow being (ii) understand that everybody must get a chance to undo the wrong he did (iii) understand not to be revengeful (iv) develop all skills of LSRW (v) comprehend the lesson and answer to different kinds of questions.
