Welcome to Mythical Unknown. Today, yes you guessed it we are going to be talking to
myths specifically mythical creatures.
A mythical creature is a fictitious, imaginary and often supernatural animal, often a hybrid,
sometimes it can be part human, their existence has not or cannot be proved and that is
described in folklore or fiction.
Myths are like a game of Chinese whispers as history continues the stories are ever
changing. Myths are stuff of legend and imagination and have been around for a long time
since around ancient Greece times which is where history is said to have originated but they
probably were around before that since myths can be stories told using imagination, Myths
are world-wide in every country around the world and each one has a different tale or
portrait of it. Myths often consist of sacred narratives about gods.
Many films rely on ancient myths to construct narratives. Disney is well-known for
reinventing traditional childhood myths. The plots of many films are based on the rough
structure of myths. Mythological archetypes, such as the cautionary tale regarding the
abuse of technology, battles between gods and creation stories, are often the subject. These
films are often created under the guise of cyberpunk action
films, fantasy, dramas and apocalyptic tales. Not that many people use myths in media,
there is only 1 radio show on it and it barely broadcasts, so it is not a topic which is well
studied.
Religion and mythology differ in scope but have overlapping aspects. Both terms refer to
systems of concepts that are of high importance to a certain community, making statements
concerning the supernatural or sacred. Generally, mythology is considered one component
or aspect of religion.
Somewhere in include a list of a lot of myths. “These are some of the many few mythical
beasts that you will hear about in media and I will go into detail talking about each one
specifically.”
Quick fire facts
In Chinese art, the dragon is sometimes paired with the phoenix. Together, they are
often equated with the harmony of marriage, and the union of the complementary
cosmic elements yin and yang.
According to Hindu and Buddhist stories, the giant, birdlike Garuda fights its eternal
enemy, the snakelike Naga. The Garuda is now the national symbol of Thailand and
Indonesia.
In the ocean near Haiti in 1493, Christopher Columbus--probably glimpsing a

as they are depicted, for somehow in the face they look like men."
