5. Books
- Undergraduate Students – 40 days (2 renewals)
- Graduate Students – 60 days (2 renewals)
- Doctoral Students – 120 days (2 renewals)
Media (Videos, DVDs, CDs, etc.) – 7 days (2 renewals)
Laptops – 24 hours (no renewals, 1$/hr overdue fine)

6. Through your personal library account you can ….
• See what materials you have checked out
• View the due dates of your library materials
• Renew materials
• Check on the status of and/or cancel your holds or
recalls
• Check to see if you owe any late fees or have any lost
materials charges.

7. • Use the “Request Item” button to
• Put a HOLD on a book
• Have a book RETRIEVED

8. • If a book is AVAILABLE,
‒ the library will retrieve the book and hold it for
you at the Circulation Desk for 7 days.
‒ Books are retrieved around 10 AM and again
around 2 PM Monday through Friday.
‒ Requests submitted on Friday, Saturday or
Sunday will be processed Monday AM.

9. • If a book is CHECKED OUT, (DUE …)
‒ All recall requests can ONLY be made by library
staff.
‒ To recall an item call 704-687-0491 or go to the
Circulation desk on the main floor of the library.
