This document provides information about the services and resources available at the University of Saskatchewan Health Sciences Library. It outlines who can borrow materials, loan periods, renewal processes, fees for late returns, and electronic resources such as databases and ebooks. Orientation sessions are available to learn about the collections and services. Reference assistance is available both in person and online. The library also offers reserves, interlibrary loans, and access to items stored offsite. Services are described for both on- and off-campus users of the Health Sciences Library.

Who may borrow from the Library? • 21 Learning Commons computers (17 PC & 4 Mac)
• All current U of S students, faculty, and staff including laptop computers for loan & public use terminals
• U of S Alumni may purchase a borrower’s card • Printers (including colour), scanner, and photocopiers
for $35.00 per year • Wireless network
• External borrowers may purchase a borrower’s card • Docking stations and collaborative space
for $150.00 per year • 2 large screen monitors

• Books: 3 weeks and up to 2 renewals

• Journals: 3 days, no renewals Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Book renewal Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
