BACKGROUND
A “drop out” is defined as a pupil
/student who has stopped attending school before
completing the prescribed level of education within the
specified school year. The dropout rate, meanwhile, is
the percentage of students, including those who transfer
out to other places and those who complete the school
year but fail to enroll next or succeeding school year (s).
The primary purpose of this project is to
reduce the drop out rate and improve learning outcomes
of Grade 1 Learners in Aldea Elementary School.

RESULT
2 or 20% out of 10 learners at-risk of dropping
out were identified as dropped out at the end
of the school year. The objective to reduce the
drop-out rate and improve learning outcomes of
Grade 1 learners was met and this program will
be utilized and implemented in the next school
year.
