Macule – flat (not raised or depressed), area of changed colour,
Patch - >10mm

Papule – solid elevation with no evidence of fluid, within the skin pinhead to 1cm, varying colours – brown, purple pink, red.
Plaque – broader than it is high, > 1cm
Larger and deeper than papules. Palpable surrounding the visible lesion.
