Title – Schizo
Running Time – 3:09
Genre – Horror
Group members – Chloe Taylor, Joshua Parkes, Lewis Haynes.
Job Roles – Chloe; Actress. Played the lead role in the short movie, the girl with
Schizophrenia.
- Joshua Parkes; actor and camera man. He played a small, significant role in the short
movie. He was also the main camera man, when he wasn’t acting.
- Lewis Haynes; He stepped in and took the role as the camera man, when Josh was
acting.
Content – The short movie, Schizo, is about a school girl, Jessica, with schizophrenia. She
hears voices in her head, telling her to commit a crime, and kill a man she has never met.
Purpose – The short movie isn’t created as anything commercial, but it was created for a
portfolio.
Screening Distribution – This short movie would be shown in short movie conventions. It
could be shown online, on YouTube or Vimeo, in hope that it will get passed on further and
seen by more people. The certificate I would give my short movie is a “12”, not far from a
“15” rating. This is because there is an unresolved scare at the end of the movie.
Target Audience – My target audience is ages 12+, any gender and race. But it would also be
for people at short movie conventions.
Legal and Ethical Consideration – I needed to pay attention to copyright music and what I
would do if I was to use music with copyright. I haven’t used copyright music. My short
movie was an original idea so, I don’t need to worry about getting done for using someone
else’s ideas. Also, both of my actors in the short movie were child actors. With this, I had to
consider that they’re not being exposed to inappropriate material or that they weren’t
working too many hours in one go.
