PubMed comprises over 24 million citations for biomedical literature,1,40,000
supplementary concepts, and online books of biomedicine and life sciences,
behavioral sciences, chemical sciences, and bioengineering.
It has information about 5,200 medical journal articles in 40 languages dating back to
1949,and updated daily from the publishers.
PubMed also provides access to additional relevant web sites and links to the other
NCBI molecular biology resources.
