Mathematics teachers use variety of methods and techniques in his/her daily classroom teaching in order to make his/her teaching more interactive and operative. Teachers and student interact with each other with in the school, so to develop this interaction; an educator uses new teaching substantial, procedures, strategies and approaches of teaching to make learning pertinent and beneficial. Till now so many methods and techniques has been launched but a mathematics teacher select only most relevant one keeping in view the topic, contents and needs of the learner. To grip or fully command on the content of mathematics it is too much necessary for an educator to use various relevant methods in the mathematics classroom at elementary level. It has been observed so many times that learners solved so many problems very rapidly by using a different methods, technique or formula to which they have already learnt in the classroom but unfortunately they have no idea about the basic logic that how this problem have done. Initially there was only the deductive approach of Aristotle to find a solution for a problem but later is the inductive reasoning of Francis Bacon was introduced to solve the mathematics problem.
It is perhaps the oldest and the most basic method of teaching as well as learning mathematics. All other methods in mathematics utilise this method in different degrees. This is a combination of two methods of induction and deduction.

The following slides are meant as an invitation to discuss a new model of education that has been designed to teach young adults to think creatively and holistically and to encourage them to apply their newly acquired insights and skills to help solve existing global problems and make a positive difference in the world.
The first part of my contribution tries to IDENTIFY what I think of as the main flaws of the current North American university education. My observations in this section are based on my personal teaching experience at two North American Universities, UBC and FDU Vancouver, but are, I believe, representative for many other educational institutions, both in North America and elsewhere.
In the second part I present a model of university education that is meant to counteract the flaws identified in part one and thus to TRANSFORM the current education system to make it more meaningful for the students who participate in it as well as beneficial for their communities and, ultimately, for the rest of the world.
What I hope to accomplish by presenting my model at this point are the following three objectives: 1) to participate in the current dialogue about alternative models of university education and the role these models can play in helping solve as many of our current global problems as possible, 2) to get as much concrete feedback about my suggested model as possible, and 3) to find some people who are interested in helping me test my alternative university – in the form of a pilot project – in reality.
Once the model has been tested at one place – and proven to be successful – it can be GLOBALIZED and introduced in other parts of the world as well. For although I have primarily developed this model for North America, I think it can be used everywhere – of course with some adjustments to the specific cultural and local conditions – in order to help create more happiness, health, peace, and sustainability all over the world.

Standardized testing has increasingly dominated the American education system over the past decade. The No Child Left Behind Act further encouraged "teaching to the test" and evaluating students and teachers primarily on test scores. However, reducing education to standardized tests ignores factors like students' backgrounds, learning styles, talents, and struggles. It also fails to consider research showing that high-stakes testing increases stress and can discourage creativity, higher-level thinking, and student engagement. While accountability is important, over-reliance on standardized tests has human costs and does not reflect the complex realities of teaching and learning.

In the second part I present a model of university education that is meant to counteract the flaws identified in part one and thus to TRANSFORM the current education system to make it more meaningful for the students who participate in it as well as beneficial for their communities and, ultimately, for the rest of the world.
What I hope to accomplish by presenting my model at this point are the following three objectives: 1) to participate in the current dialogue about alternative models of university education and the role these models can play in helping solve as many of our current global problems as possible, 2) to get as much concrete feedback about my suggested model as possible, and 3) to find some people who are interested in helping me test my alternative university – in the form of a pilot project – in reality.
Once the model has been tested at one place – and proven to be successful – it can be GLOBALIZED and introduced in other parts of the world as well. For although I have primarily developed this model for North America, I think it can be used everywhere – of course with some adjustments to the specific cultural and local conditions – in order to help create more happiness, health, peace, and sustainability all over the world.

Third Annual Statewide California Acceleration Project (CAP) Conference 2019. Online learning is an attractive option to an ever-increasing number of diverse students. Supporting AB 705 in the online modality is a real challenge. Coastline College, with 85% purely online enrollment in math, is meeting the challenge.

Standardized testing has increasingly dominated the American education system over the past decade. The No Child Left Behind Act further encouraged "teaching to the test" and evaluating students and teachers primarily on test scores. However, reducing education to standardized tests ignores factors like students' backgrounds, learning styles, talents, and struggles. It also fails to consider research showing that high-stakes testing increases stress and can discourage creativity, higher-level thinking, and student engagement. While accountability is important, over-reliance on standardized tests has human costs and does not reflect the complex realities of teaching and learning.

cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,

Who Can Participate? • Elementary students, K-6...SPECIFICALLY – Students earning “average grades,” B’s and C’s WHY? – These children receive less and less strategic instructional support in school. – Teachers are required to spend significant time planning and executing interventions for struggling students, deemed “high risk.” • The performance of these students on state testing is valued higher for academic gains, which constitute 50% of the school’s grade. – Students achieving the highest scores on assessments, “low risk and gifted,” receive extra enrichment time. The majority of students need more instructional time and independent practice to master skills taught.
- 5. “Practice Makes Perfect” Students have less and less time to practice • Increased pacing demands – More material and district mandated testing deadlines • Frequent and lengthy assessments – District reading and math tests consist of 20-30 multiple choice and written response questions. Most students take a minimum of one hour, and often up to two hours to complete. – Tests can fill entire teaching blocks, limiting instruction and practice time for students. Here are a couple examples of third grade math test questions: 1) Miguel is thinking of a five-digit odd number between 48,960 and 49,058. The ones digit is 3 more than the tens digit. What number could Miguel be thinking of? 2) Bobbie wants to make $2.00 using dollars, half dollars, and quarters. How many different ways can she make $2.00? Blue Monkey’s goal is to extend classroom learning with lessons and guided practice to help students maximize their potential and unlock their love for learning.
