• Question tags, cümle sonundaki kısa onay
sorularıdır. «Değil mi?» anlamındadır.
• Yardımcı fiil (is, does, can, did, have vb.) +
şahıs zamiri (he, she, they vb.) ile yapılır.
• Olumlu cümleye olumsuz; olumsuz cümleye
olumlu question tags yapılır.

• The baby isn’t hungry, is he?
• (Bebek aç değil, değil mi?)

• Australia is an interesting country, isn’t it?
• (Avustralya ilginç bir ülke, değil mi?)

• You brush your teeth regularly, don’t you?
• (Dişlerini düzenli fırçalıyorsun, değil mi?)

• John can’t play football very well, can he?
• (John çok iyi futbol oynayamaz, değil mi?)

• You didn’t do anything wrong, did you?
• (Yanlış bir şey yapmadın, değil mi?)

• You can play the violin, can’t you?

• Selin swims very well, doesn’t she?

• They went to the restaurant yesterday, didn’t
they?

• John studies regularly, doesn’t he?

• You don’t go to school by bus, do you?

• Your father has a red sports car, doesn’t he?

• The man is going to fall into the hole, isn’t he?

• John doesn’t have a parrot as a pet, does he?

• They didn’t like the concert, did they?

• This is a unicycle, isn’t it?

• Let’s take a safari tour, shall we?

• Clean the board, will you?
• Don’t play the trumpet here, will you?
• Close the door, will you?

Everyone, nobody, everybody, no one, someone
kişi zamirleri «they»li question tag alır.
• Everybody is ready, aren’t they?
• Somebody phoned you last night, didn’t they?
• Everybody wasn’t sleeping, were they?
• Everyone will have coffee, won’t they?

• No one, nobody zamirleri cümleye olumsuz
anlam verdiği için, olumlu question tag alır.
• No one wants more bread, do they?
• Nobody can climb that mountain, can they?

I’m  aren’t I?
• I am very handsome, aren’t I?

Bileşik cümlelerde ana cümleciğe göre
question tag yapılır.
• You can see John if you go to Adana, can’t
you?
• While you were going to school, you didn’t get
wet, did you?
