Translation Project ( 'WH' Question ).

1. We chose this topic because it is very important to know how to translate it ,
and we use it every day in our conversations and our dealings so we must
learn more about it.
An English "wh-question" begins with a simple wh-word (for example, who,
what, when, where, why, or how) or a complex wh-phrase consisting of a
wh-word plus other words (for example, whose accountant, what business
plan, from which sales strategy, etc.). The following wh-question begins with
the wh-word what.
The purpose of such a wh-question is to seek content information that the
asker does not yet know or has perhaps forgotten. A response to this
question might be something like the following, where the highlighted portion
was the content previously unknown to the asker.
Such wh-questions are different from "yes/no questions . Let us see more ..

6. How to use 'Wh...' questions
In English there are seven ‘Wh…’ questions. Here’s
what they are and how they are used:
 What is used for a thing.
 ‘What is it?’
 Who is used for a person. Whose has the same meaning
but it is always followed by a noun.
 ‘Who were you talking to?’
 ‘Whose car is that?’
 Why is used for a reason.
 ‘Why were you late?’
 When is used for a time or date
 ‘When did you start working here?’

This project included basic points about WH questions , we discussed how WH questions in English with
examples and explain WH questions in the Arabic language with examples,and finally we provided sentences in
both Arabic and English and how to translate them .
who /used to ask about a person's identity and used to question about the actor and the object such as .
whose / tool for those who question the sense, used to ask about ownership.
which / tool question the sense of (any) are used to choose between something.
what / tool question the sense of (what, what), where the use of a question about the effect of doing
things as well as the question about the use of different types of information such as profession and
why.
why / sometimes used without the main actor is already satisfied, when calculated to the question
as to whether the occurrence of the event is necessary.
where / tool question the sense of (where) and is used to ask about the place, the location, and even
the direction .
when / tool when a question in the sense, is used to ask for time in general .
how / tool question the sense (how, how much) where they are used to ask about the case, the
method or medium .
