Farmers suicides in India have been analyzed using a fuzzy analysis model. The study examines data from various resources to describe the problem of farmers suicides and lists some observed impacts. A fuzzy analysis model (FAM) is adapted to analyze the causes of farmers suicides in India, which has become a major issue affecting life on earth. The study concludes by providing suggestions based on the fuzzy analysis.

Abstract
Debating Climate change has become unavoidable as its far reaching impacts are felt almost
in all spheres of life. It has affected life on earth beyond imagination and will continue to
affect in future. Therefore it becomes our primary concern to analyze its impacts through
various scientific models. In this paper we do the same. Section 1 gives introduction to the
impacts of climate change and section 2 describes the problem with evidence using data taken
from various resources. In section 3, we list some observed impacts of climate change and in
section 4, we adapt FAM model to analyses the problem. Section 5 gives conclusions and
suggestions from our study.

The concept of Sustainable development based on an integrated view of environmental policies and development strategies intends to minimize the risks and hazards to the environment. In this paper we analyze the effects of health hazards in sustainable development of agriculture using Fuzzy Associative Memories (FAM). We arrive at the conclusions by this study how sustainable development is being affected by the pollutions.This paper has four sections. In section one we recall the notion of Fuzzy Associative Memories (FAM) and its properties. In section two we describe the problem. In Section three we adopt FAM to this problem and analyze the problem. Section four gives the conclusions based on our study.

Thousands of farmers in India have committed suicide in the past twenty years. Experts opine that the seeds for this crisis were sown during Green Revolution itself and some also attribute the environmental degradation to this crisis. In this paper we analyse the causes which have contributed to the farmers’ suicides using Combined disjoint block Fuzzy Cognitive maps (COBFCM). The first section of the paper gives an introduction to the problem of suicides by farmers and section two and three describe COBFCM model and the way of determining the hidden pattern. In section four we adapt the model to the problem and analyse the data and in section five derive conclusion from our analysis and give suggestions to address the problem.

The economy of any nation is determined by the development of its industrial sectors. One of the most vibrant industries is leather industry. The process of it comprises of three stages among which tanning is the core action as it gives glow to the product. But, at the same time the material Chromium used for tanning indeed exploit the environment as it has toxic effects on all the organisms. The discharge of effluents contains Chromium (Cr) VI which is very hazardous; therefore the industries apply certain mechanical filtration process of converting Cr VI to Cr III which is comparatively less harmful than Cr VI. The execution of such mechanical processing is not practically feasible so industries have begun to drift towards bio treatment. In general, the literature of earlier works sketch out many merits of switching from mechanical to bio processing, but the most influencing merit has not yet clearly stated. Therefore this research work is an effort of determining it so as to stimulate it for mitigating the toxicity in a most comprehensive manner. In order to accomplish this task systematically, the mathematical tool, Fuzzy Cognitive Map is used in this paper.

The present pandemic has tremendously raised the health systems’ burden around the globe. It is important to understand the transmission dynamics of the infection and impose localized strategies across different geographies to curtail the spread of the infection. The present study was designed to assess the transmission dynamics and the health systems’ burden of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) using an agent-based modeling (ABM) approach. The study used a synthetic population with 31,738,240 agents representing 90.67 percent of the overall population of Telangana, India. The effects of imposing and lifting lockdowns, nonpharmaceutical interventions, and the role of immunity were analyzed. The distribution of people in different health states was measured separately for each district of Telangana. The spread dramatically increased and reached a peak soon after the lockdowns were relaxed. It was evident that is the protection offered is higher when a higher proportion of the population is exposed to the interventions. ABMs help to analyze grassroots details compared to compartmental models. Risk estimates provide insights on the proportion of the population protected by the adoption of one or more of the control measures, which is of practical significance for policymaking.

Empowerment of women in India is faced with the challenge of ‘violence against women’. As violence in perpetrated against women everywhere, domestic violence by the intimate partner or the partner’s family assumes more importance in addressing the broader of problem of violence against women. In this paper we analyse the factors which perpetrate domestic violence and how it impinges of women empowerment. The first section of this paper gives an introduction to the problem and the second section gives the basic definitions of the IFAM model. In the third section we adapt IFAM model to the problem of domestic violence and finally the fourth section gives the conclusion and suggestions based on our analysis.

Gardner and Stern (2002) compile the critical environmental problems that the world is challenging, and reflect that even though it is recognized that those problems are caused by humans, the use of the human behaviour science is not habitually used to tackle them. For Stern (2000, p.408) an environmentally significant behaviour (ESB) can be defined by the extent to which it impacts the environment. The ‘Conservation Psychology’ studies the ESBs, having in mind the physical and social context within which they are made (DMU, 2007a). The three ESBs that this study presents have been chosen in order to show a range of theories to explain ESBs. In each case, a first sub-section comments the ESB, classifies it and gives factors on which they may be based; and a second part explains different theories’ approaches to explain those ESBs. They all refer personal behaviours. The magnitude of their final environmental impacts will depend on the extent to which the actor’s ESB influences other people’s behaviours.

Abstract A tsunami can be referred to series of water waves initiated by the dislocation of a large quantity of water, usually in ocean or a large lake. Tsunamis obliterate not only human population but all other species. There are many factors that have potential to cause a tsunami like Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other underwater explosions (including explosions of underwater nuclear devices), landslides, meteorite impacts and other disturbances above or below water. With the preface of modern science and computer technology, the field of Artificial Intelligence is screening a definite efficacy in all continuum of life. There are certain ways to predict such disasters and design different kinds of early warning systems. These can be predicted on the basis of climatic conditions and several other parameters. One such concept that is working as a boom in the fields of environmental science and policy is fuzzy logic. As fuzzy logic can be widely stated as working with the vague, imprecise data and the linguistic terms. So, this methodology can be successfully applied in the field of tsunami warning as the influence of different parameters that cause tsunami is different and can be said as vague. In this work, a fuzzy system has been developed to declare the occurrence of tsunami in terms of linguistic parameters rare_tsunami, advisory_tsunami and warning by taking the tsunami characteristics earthquake magnitude, volcanic eruption index, landslide and height of waves in deep ocean. Fuzzy rule base is generated and the results are compared with an IEEE research paper. Design and implementation of a fuzzy based tsunami warning system

Agent based model (ABM) is a computational model for simulation, behavioral representation and interaction of autonomous agents. The main problem definition related to how to make a dynamic model of dengue fever with consideration of their behavioral and interaction agent. This paper aims to develop interactive behavioral agents and related simulation models for such dynamic spreading dengue fever epidemic. This model construction consists of two agents, namely a human agent as a host and mosquito as a vector, where temperature and humidity are the environmental parameters. These environmental parameters deployed data and information from National Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics agency and supported by recent community health data of Bogor region. The verification stage evaluated model performance of two periods between January to June and between July to December 2015 showed the fitness of the model. During simulation stage where 100 humans agent and 10 mosquitoes agent were observed, indicating the decreasing of mosquito by 26.3% and the number of infected human decrease to 16% from the period of January until June to July until December 2015 respectively. These evaluation results showed that the agent based model results succeeded to follow a similar trend of decreasing pattern as actual data.

Detection of software bugs and its occurrences, repudiation and its root cause is a very difficult process in large multi threaded applications. It is a must for a software developer or software organization to identify bugs in their applications and to remove or overcome them. The application should be protected from malfunctioning. Many of the compilers and Integrated Development Environments are effectively identifying errors and bugs in applications while running or compiling, but they fail in detecting actual cause for the bugs in the running applications. The developer has to reframe or recreate the package with the new one without bugs. It is time consuming and effort is wasted in Software Development Life Cycle. There is a possibility to use graph mining techniques in detecting software bugs. But there are many problems in using graph mining techniques. Managing large graph data, processing nodes with links and processing subgraphs are the problems to be faced in graph mining approach. This paper presents a novel algorithm named BugLoc which is capable of detecting bugs from the multi threaded software application. The BugLoc uses object template to store graph data which reduces graph management complexities. It also uses substring analysis method in detecting frequent subgraphs. The BugLoc then analyses frequent subgraphs to detect exact location of the software bugs. The experimental results show that the algorithm is very efficient, accurate and scalable for large graph dataset.

The detection of moving object is an important in many applications such as a vehicle identification in a traffic monitoring system,human detection in a crime branch.In this paper we identify a vehicle in a video sequence.This paper briefly explain the detection of moving vehicle in a video.We introduce a new algorithm BGS for idntifying vehicle in a video sequence. First, we differentiate the foreground from background in frames by learning the background. Then, the image is divided into many small nonoverlapped frames. The candidates of the vehicle part can be found from the frames if there is some change in gray level between the current image and the background. The extracted background subtraction method is used in subsequent analysis to detect a vehicle and classify moving vehicle.

This paper presents an implementation of one dimensional Burgers equation using implicit method with Intel Xeon Phi Coprocessor. In particular, we used MAGMA MIC library which is an open source high performance library for solving a systems of non-linear equations. Further for high performance computation we consider offload mode as the primary mode of operation for Intel Xeon phi coprocessor. The result obtained from implicit scheme is then compared with the exact values and it’s seen that the results obtained are approximate and reliable. The result table showed that the proposed scheme achieved higher performance on Intel MIC platform.

Hence there is a one to one correspondence between crossing of lines in the permutation and the edges of the corresponding permutation graph. As a result of abnormal level of glucose in body leads to heart attack, kidney disease, renal failure, Hyperglycemia and also cancer in organs like liver and pancreas. Many studies have been proved that several types of heart diseases are possible in diabetic patients having a high blood sugar. Many approaches were proposed to diagnose both Diabetes and heart diseases. Most of the diabetes people can also have heart diseases called as Diabetic Cardiomyopathy. The earliest manifestation of diabetic cardiomyopathy is needed certain processes. The objective of the study is to examine the association of heart disease and diabetes. The relationship between diabetes and cardiovascular diseases are examined by taking into account of age, sex and associated diabetic and cardiovascular risk factors. The data are collected from patients with diabetes. From these data, features are selected by ant colony optimization and those selected features are given to hybrid PSO-LIBSVM to classify abnormal and normal data. This performance is evaluated using performance metrics and proved this classifiers efficiency for detection of Diabetic Cardiomyopathy.

Cryptography is important in communicating secured information that is vulnerable to distortion. The main goal of this paper is encrypting the small arbitrary length data without any changes in the length and data type. We propose a flexible arbitrary length small domain block cipher (FPESD). FPESD is based on AES Algorithm. The resulting cipher text is the same as input plaintext. Here, we use Galois finite field GF (28) and format preserving key to implement FPE. For decryption format preserving key is used along with cipher text and secret key.

Test Suite Reduction is an optimization technique to identify the minimally sized subset of test cases with enforced constraints involved. The main purpose of test suite reduction is to deduce increased number of test cases that in turn increase the time and cost involved in execution. Fault Detection is the method of identifying the faults that affect the outcome of the system either logically or syntactically. This paper focuses on the reduction of the test suite that has high fault identification rates and also incurs low cost of execution of test cases. The proposed approach includes a new parameter Fault Detection Effectiveness to identify fault rates of test suite; an algorithm for test suite reduction based on priority of requirements; a low cost framework to identify the execution of test cases with minimum budget. Thus, the proposed work defines a test suite that has high fault detection effectiveness providing maximum coverage to requirements at minimum cost of execution.

As the e-commerce is gaining popularity various customer surveys of objects are currently accessible on the Internet. These surveys are frequently disordered, prompting challenges in knowledge discovery and object assessment. This article proposes an object feature positioning skeleton, which consequently recognizes the critical features of an object from online customer surveys. The critical object features are recognized focused around two perceptions: 1) they are normally commented extensively by customers and 2) customer suppositions on the critical feature significantly impact their general assessments on the object. Specifically, given the customer surveys of an item, we first extract the object feature by a shallow reliance parser and focus customer suppositions on these features through an opinion characterizer. We then create a probabilistic object feature positioning calculation to identify the criticalness of perspectives by at the same time considering feature recurrence and the impact of customer opinion given to every feature over their general opinion. The experimental results on 3 popular products demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach.

Cloud Computing makes data really mobile and a client can simply access a chosen cloud with any internet accessible device. The espousal and dispersion of Cloud computing are threatened by unresolved security issues that affect both the cloud provider and the cloud user. The integrity of data stored in the cloud is one of the challenges to be addressed before the novel storage model is applied widely. This paper analyses the efficiency issues and security dodge of an existing scheme and proposes an amended data integrity scheme using improved RSA and number theory based concept for cloud archive. This scheme of protecting the integrity of guest virtual machines can be agreed upon by both the cloud and the customer and can be incorporated in the service level agreement (SLA).Based onhypothetical analysis, we demonstrate that the proposedscheme has a provably safe and highly adroit dataintegrity inspection measure.

What cause to the neurons of the human brain cells when they are damaged. They become inactive. So damage to subthalamiuc nucleus (STN) neurons of the human brain causing larger involuntary movements and thereby attacking the Parkinson’s disease (PD). Deep brain stimulation (DBS) of bilateral sub thalamic nuclei (STN) is an efficient method of rehabilitation technique in subjects with advanced idiopathic Parkinson’s (or Parkinson) disease. Accurate targeting of STN neurons and placement of microelectrodes/ (neurosensors) are paramount importance for optimal results after STN-DBS method.In this paper, microminiaturized electrode recordings (MER) of STN neurons were detected in a mean of 3.5 ±1.1 channels on right hemisphere and 3.6 ±1.04 on left hemisphere.Final channel selected were most commonly central seen in 42.3% followed by anterior in 33.7%. When a high current is delivered to STN or GPi neurons of basal ganglia (a component of human brain), causing their inhibition and improved indication of symptoms. It is now known that there is a significant change in the firing pattern and a reorganization of the entire basal ganglia circuit with DBS. The MER of STN neurons has identified a specific high frequency irregular larger amplitude firing patterns seen only in disease states and hence used to detect the neurons of ST nucleus during functional surgery. Microelectrode recording is so useful to confirm the right path but has to be taken in consideration with effects on macro stimulation.

Large language models (LLMs) are in the spotlight. Laypeople are aware of and are using the LLMs such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini on a daily basis. While companies are exploring new business opportunities, researchers have gained access to an unprecedented scientific playground that allows for fast experimentation with limited resources and immediate results. In this talk, using concrete examples from requirements engineering, I am going to put forward several research opportunities that are enabled by the advent of LLMs. I will show how LLMs, as a key example of modern AI, unlock research topics that were deemed as too challenging until recently. Then, I will critically discuss the perils that we face when it comes to planning, conducting, and reporting on credible research results following a rigorous scientific approach. This talk will stress the inherent tension between the exciting affordances offered by this new technology, which include the ability to generate non-factual outputs (fiction), and our role and societal responsibility as information scientists.

The 4DN Data Portal (data.4dnucleome.org) is an expanding resource hosting data generated by the 4DN Network and other reference nucleomics data sets. The portal provides tools for search, exploration, visualization, and download. An overview of the data portal, highlighting available data, how it can be found, visualized and used for analyses will be presented. The top 3 key questions that the 4DN data portal can answer: 1. Warming the Earth's Atmosphere: Causes, Effects, and Solutions The phenomenon of atmospheric warming, commonly referred to as global warming or climate change, has emerged as one of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time. It is primarily driven by human activities that increase the concentration of greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the Earth's atmosphere, leading to significant and potentially irreversible changes in climate patterns. This essay explores the causes, effects, and potential solutions to this critical issue. Causes of Atmospheric Warming The primary cause of atmospheric warming is the enhanced greenhouse effect, which occurs when certain gases in the Earth's atmosphere trap heat from the sun. The most significant greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide (CO₂), methane (CH₄), nitrous oxide (N₂O), and fluorinated gases. Human activities, particularly since the Industrial Revolution, have dramatically increased the levels of these gases. Key contributors include: Burning of Fossil Fuels: The combustion of coal, oil, and natural gas for energy and transportation is the largest source of CO₂ emissions. Some of the most significant effects include: Rising Temperatures: Global average temperatures have increased, leading to more frequent and intense heatwaves. This can result in health problems, reduced agricultural yields, and increased energy demand. Melting Polar Ice and Glaciers: Higher temperatures cause the melting of ice in polar regions and glaciers, contributing to sea level rise. This threatens coastal communities with increased flooding and erosion. Ocean Acidification: The absorption of excess CO₂ by the oceans leads to acidification, which adversely affects marine life, particularly organisms with calcium carbonate shells or skeletons. Extreme Weather Events: There is an increase in the frequency and severity of extreme weather events such as hurricanes, droughts, and heavy rainfall. These events can cause significant damage to infrastructure, disrupt food and water supplies, and displace populations. Ecosystem Disruption: Changes in temperature and precipitation patterns can alter habitats and affect biodiversity, leading to shifts in species distributions and the potential extinction of vulnerable species. It has affected life on earth beyond imagination and will continue to affect in future. Therefore it becomes our primary concern to analyze its impacts through various scientific models. In this paper we do the same. Section 1 gives introduction to the impacts of climate change and section 2 describes the problem with evidence using data taken from various resources. In section 3, we list some observed impacts of climate change and in section 4, we adapt FAM model to analyses the problem. Section 5 gives conclusions and suggestions from our study.
