I'm sorry that you were relying on me - and hate to think that you're screwed.
I believe Phil Brissenden was the person who put us in touch.
Could you have a word with him and explain what happened?
I won't be able to record songs for you any time soon as I have some major deadlines
coming up.
But see if Phil can put you in touch with someone who might be able to help.

Well, I was kind of relying on you, and now I'm screwed, so yes if you could still help me out I'd be
grateful.

I Ian
I'm afraid I have a problem: The course leader told me this isn't suitable
for the assignment as I need to compose music versus play songs.
I've had to find another film in the meantime.

Daniel - I really need the music at this point. I have to have all my work handed in on Thursday. It
doesn't have to be professionally recorded, just a youtube video recorded in a quiet space would
be fine and I can download it. Can you reassure me that you can get this to me soon? If not, you
need to tell me so I can do something else.

Thanks. For my purposes, all I need are the 3 tracks so I can work with them. If time is an issue,
then for now you can just work on Morning has Broken and the central section, and I can use the
existing track of The Lord's My Shepherd.

Ideally I'd like to hear what you've got some time earlier than that. I need to be able to craft the
final edit around your music. And if I don't like anything I want to be able to work with u to change
it.

Timings are still very rough. I have to cut down to 4 minutes. And you may need your own 5
minute version - have you enquired about this?
I expect Morning has Broken would end when the first lamb is born, and the lords my shepherd
would begin round about where it does now. Don't worry about making the music fit the timings
at this point.

ok so you want:
1 - morning has broken in a bluesy way
2 - an instrumental section that sounds similar
3 - the lord is my shepherd
?
Can you tell me when in the clip each are supposed to start and finish?

No - you can do your own version of that tune at the end so you can be credited with doing all the
music.

The Lord's My Shepherd as played by Joseph Spence. Arr. Peter Price.

The guitarist Dave Faill has given me permission to use this track, but if you could do something
similar in keeping with the style of the other tracks you record, then that would probably be
preferable. The style seems to be taken from blues guitarist Joseph Spence:

As I said on Skype, I'd like a similar version of Morning Has Broken to start the film - and then I'm
not sure about the middle - something improvisational in the same style, I suppose.
Like I said, I need to submit this on Thursday May 15th, so I'd appreciate it if you got me
something sometime before that.
Let me know what you think.

But I really need to get this done soon for the Uni.

Hello Daniel.
Thanks for your email. Have you been referred to me by someone at Salford uni?
I don't have any footage online just yet. I'm just looking for someone to record some acoustic
guitar instrumentals of traditional hymns - in the style of Joseph Spence. Like this:
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LgUZoIRW6Rw
Perhaps you could tell me something about your background and experience?
Cheers
