2. What is Laser Screed Technology ?
Laser Screed Technology is a ride on machine
that establishes grade by laser, disperses concrete by
auger, vibrates and consolidates the concrete.
It is the new technique for the placement of concrete.

3. How Laser Screed Works ?
• The Laser Screed is a ride on machine with a laser guided
screed at the end of a 20 ft (6 m) long telescopic boom.
• An on-board computer monitors the floor profile by laser
and adjust the screed level 5 times per second.
• The self -levelling vibratory screed consolidates the
concrete, which is dispersed by an auger.
• With a laser screed , a single crew can consistently place and
finish 15000 to 20000 sq.ft of concrete floor per day.

9. Dis-advantages :
• Cost is very high.
• Highly Skill supervision is needed during the construction.
• Not suitable for smaller areas.
• Laser screed is larger in size & weight so larger area is
needed for its use.
• Light reinforcement won’t stand up to the machine’s
weight.
