2. INTRODUCTION
• Hinge construction machines are mainly used for;
Excavation of canal shapes
Lining of canals and river beds
• Has got a series of Hinge construction machines, which are used
for various canal constructions according to their specifications.

3. Applications for Hinge Machines
Full section trimmers
or liners for canals up
to 25m
Half section: Large
canals can be built,
enables the handling
of up to 30m slope
length in one pass.
Extended Half
Section: For long
stepless slopes
Separated by berms: For larger canal
slopes or embankment dams, necessary to
split the slope into more sections,
separated by berms, to produce slopes with
any length
Flat Terrain: Hinge Construction
Machines can also be used in flat
terrain, so there is no need for
conventional machines for trimming
and lining the canal floor.

4. CANAL TRIMMER
• Canal trimmer is available in a two, three, or four
track configuration.
• Are designed and sized to handle a wide range of
canal sizes.
• Configurations are based on different type of soils.
• Trimmer can be configured to handle trapezoidal
shaped canals in the half span and full span or
varying slope angles or flat configuration as well as
parabolic and half round canal cross sections.

cutting edge to help leave a clean,
trimmed surface and to minimize hand
shoveling prior to concrete lining
Durable crawler track rail/ chain is used to
connect the bucket into a continuous
bucket-line.
