• Humanistic education theory emphasizes the development of the
whole person and focuses on fostering individual growth, self-esteem,
and self-actualization.
• Humanism in education refers to a philosophy and a set of teaching
and learning practices that prioritize the development of the whole
person.
• It emphasizes the importance of individual growth, self-actualization,
and personal fulfillment. Humanism in education is based on the belief
that every individual has intrinsic worth and the potential to achieve
greatness.
