The Company
Our client is a leading manufacturer for the oil, gas and petrochemical industry. As a market
leader in this highly competitive industry, they operate at a very fast pace and therefore
always looking to recruit the best people.
The Role
The role will be based at their Head Office in Knutsford, Cheshire and the successful
candidate will directly report to the Supply Manager. Your role will be tasked to ensure
deliveries and productions are completed within the agreed timescales.
Primary Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Ensuring material availability on lines due each month
• Focusing on all orders and taking action to prioritise production
• Maintaining dialogue with our customers on order status
• Liaising with third party inspectors
The Candidate
The Production Controller will be expected to take ownership of projects so it is essential
that you have the ability to be proactive and use you own initiative, whilst maintaining high
attention to detail and accuracy. A professional approach to your work is essential.
Candidates must have:
• An Engineering background and experience within a similar role
• Familiarity with a “machined component” manufacturing environment
• Good Inter-personal and communication skills at all levels
• Good influencing skills
