1. Production Engineer - 16001
Our client is a global leader in the manufacture of high-yield solid propellants. Due to
continued growth they now have an immediate requirement for a production engineer to join
their UK team based in the South Midlands.
In this role, you will be responsible for adapting and improving existing production processes
whilst working closley with the design and operation teams in order to ensure that all
processes are fit for purpose. You will also be expected to develop new processes as
necessary and ensure that all relevant documentation is completed.
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have degree or equivalent quallification in an
engineering discipline coupled with extensive industry experience. You will have a detailed
working knowledge of various production processes including forming, machining and
treatment of metallic components, moulding, extrusion and spraying of polymers, and
adhesive bonding. Experience in production planning techniques such as MRP II and the
ability to interpret engineering drawings is also required.
