5. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Here are four different rough product developments. I have used different fonts, colours and shapes
for each one. I have done four different products as I believe that I can expand the one I prefer further
to achieve a professional package that could be used for Irn-Bru.
Also you can see that I have stuck the original colour scheme of Irn-Bru but however I have created a
complete different design. I have used blue and green and a range of other bright eye catching
colours. I have decided to do this because it gives the packaging a different and fresh look. By
changing the colour scheme of the can this makes the packaging more suitable for young people who
are more likely to buy and have a major interest in energy drinks, its more modern and appealing as
the use of bright colours make it seem more appropriate for the target audience.
