Essay On How To Accessorize Your Outfit
How to Train Yourself to Accessorize Your Outfits
Accessorizing will always make your outfit look attractive, complete and polished. Everyone needs
to look outstanding either at the workplaces or when attending various events. Therefore, training
yourself how to accessorize your outfits entails crucial activities that you should observe keenly to
get a trendy look. Accessories spice your outfit.
One of the advantages of accessorizing is that it saves you hundreds of dollars. When you purchase
more accessories, you will not need to add many clothes to your wardrobe. For instance, women
always want to change or maintain their looks every day. They can achieve this by the help of
accessories and not more clothes. You can accessorize one or ... Show more content on

You need to plan your day effectively and try out different outfits and accessories in your room. For
instance, you can time when your kids are asleep and start accessorizing. You should wear your best
casual and official outfits with your new accessories. Additionally, you should try out each outfit
with your accessories and use a mirror to see your new looks.
3. Feel comfortable to invite your friend when trying out new outfits and accessories
Friends are the best people in an individual's life. They provide honest, though hurting, answers and
opinions at times. Therefore, you can accessorize together with your close friend and complement
each other's new looks. You will get real opinions about your new looks after accessorizing
differently. However, it is not advisable to invite a friend who always criticizes you when
accessorizing. You need some complements to make you feel comfortable when training yourself.
4. Try a new hand bag that matches your shoes
Although it is not advisable to match every color of your outfit with your accessories, you should
buy at least one or two handbags that match with the colors of your shoes. They will give you a
trendy and adorable look. Some people like red while others pink color. You color taste should guide
you in this step.

Taking a Look at The New Deal
The New Deal was one of the most influential government policies in American History, proposed
by New Dealers led by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, one of the most legendary presidents in
American history, famous for his leadership during two of the most disastrous events in the history:
the Great Depression and World War II. As a controversial government policy, some historians argue
that the New Deal was radical while others maintain that it was conservative. The New Deal was
radical at its time, but from today's point of view, it was still somewhat conservative.
The New Deal was radical
The New Deal was radical in that it greatly increased the power of the executive branch, greatly
increased the federal budget, and started governmental interference of the economy. It gave FDR the
power to regulate US banking system and business system. Its various programs directly provided
help to the majority while creating a lot of jobs as well as housing for them. It set up the safety net
for the majority of American people with policies such as Social Security.
Banking and finance regulation
The New Deal was economically radical; it gave the government a lot of power to regulate the
banking system and finance system. The Glass–Steagall Banking Act of 1933 and the Emergency
Banking Act of 1933 were among the first the New Deal policies. Both acts were aimed to regulate
the banking system and to restore people's faith in banks. The Emergency Banking Act "gave the

Visual Merchandise Guidelines For Retailers
Since approximately 90% of cues provided by an environment are digested through sight (Edwards
& Shackley, 1992), more than ever it is a vital time for retailers to be reviewing their strategies with
respects to their Visual Merchandise Guidelines. Continuously, consumers are opting to take their
purchases online rather than experiencing the physical store environment. With constant innovative
technologies, retailers are finding novel ways to recreate the in–store environment on–screen; with
the high street being described as acting on 'borrowed time' (guardian 2012). Retailers, such as New
Look, are keen to add any service that can generate sales and win intensified competitive share; it is
therefore crucial that the Visual Merchandise ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Informative Essay: Gender Roles In The Medical Field
I don't know what it feels like to be a doctor that has to look at their patient and say, "I don't know. I
don't know what's wrong with you. I can't fix it. I'm sorry." I don't know what it feels like, but I
know what it looks like. They get a crease between their eyebrows, stand hunched over as if
exhausted from a long day, and try to avoid looking you in the eye. They suggest tests, possible
answers that they really don't have much evidence for, and tell you that they'll give you some pain
medication in the meantime. Nurses start coming in again. While one rechecks your vitals the other
gets the IV started so that they can draw blood for tests. What tests? All of them, anyone that they
can get an answer from in the next couple of hours. Some that will take much longer to get the
results for. They prep you for an ultrasound, telling you how it works. I never knew that ultrasounds
were for more than just pregnant women. The gel is warm; they keep it in a heater on the cart. After
they've gotten all the images they want, they send you back to wait. That's mostly what not knowing
boils down to–waiting. Out of the five sports I used to play, there are only two that I truly miss.

season. When I was four years old he bought me my very first bow and taught me how to shoot. I
wasn't very good, standing only ten or so yards from the target, but I was dedicated. There were a
couple of years that I gave up archery for ball but when I started back up again I didn't stop. Some
days I would spend six hours firing at the target in hopes of a perfect hit. Ten yards became twenty.

My Experience In My Life
I was sitting in the plane going to where my mother lived when she was a kid, finally landing at the
only airport in my entire state and the 45 min drive to my "home" I felt a new emotion I had never
felt or known about at the time, anxious. First an outcast as an American with Indian heritage, but
now as another outcast but this time as an Indian with American heritage. I recall on my thoughts
that I had sprinting throughout my mind as the heat kept pounding against my skin. Not sure
whether to be nervous, Thrilled, or homesick. It wasn't the night my parents decided it was best for
my brother and I to go to India and live there for 2 years it was that night, my first night sleeping
without the same bed, power rangers bed set with yu–gi–yoh and Pokémon pillows that I had
realized my life was never going to be the same. Walking into my new school I could already tell
there was a huge difference, instead of two doors there was a gate, with teachers and actual security
guards all around you. Eying you like a hungry vulture, making sure that you're obeying the rules. I
look around I can see the heat crashing into the sidewalk and bright yellow boxed shirts with kids
under fourth grade wearing clip on ties and every grade above quickly tying on their ties before they
get in trouble. Before we got to enter the school the actual school building, the teachers made us
form a single file line so they could check to see whether or not we had right uniforms on for the
right day. Going

A Very Brief Look at the New Testament
The New Testament is an anthology of twenty–seven ancient writings that describe the life of Jesus
Christ and the beginning of the Christian Church. This anthology was not written by just one person,
but rather, has several authors, most of whom are known and some of whom are not distinctly
known. All of these writings are believed to have been written in the first and second centuries AD
from roughly 50AD to 125AD(class notes). The New Testament was mainly written in Greek with
some small bits of Aramaic (class notes), but has since been translated into various other languages.
This group of writings has been used as both a theological and historical document, while there are
no clear lines distinguishing the two. It becomes apparent in studying the New Testament that it is a
group of texts discussing Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and the origin and spread of Christianity
while including a heavy influence of the societies of the authors.
The New Testament comes from at least eight different authors who lived during and after the life of
Jesus. Each of the writings, while dealing with Jesus, his teachings or the spread of Christianity, has
a historical undertone. There are clear bits of historical context throughout the anthology that allow
the books to be dated and provide insight to the world of the authors. When the prophetic
destruction of the temple in Jerusalem is being discussed in the gospels, it is clear that the authors
are discussing the threat of the

Essay on The First Day of School
The alarm clock buzzed loudly beside my ear. Feeling like a gong that was being hit repeatedly was
placed right beside my head. I sluggishly pulled myself out of my bed and dragged myself to my
closet. The words, first day of school moaned ghastly in my head. Summer was uneventful and
school was just going to be hell. I picked out an old, worn out flannel and a pair of jeans to wear.
Not rushing at all, I struggled to put the raggedy clothes on. They smelt like horrendous lies and
rumors. Exactly what this state and my school are built on. The kitchen was empty, signaling that I
was the only one awake. I looked in the fridge for breakfast, and found one egg and 6 mini sausages
left. After staring at the almost empty fridge, I kept a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

"You sure? I don't mind."
"Yes, you should really get going... I'll think of something." I assure him, and with that he nods,

bank, a 7–11, a Hardees, a Vet Office, and soon enough crossing guards are letting me move across
the busy road to walk the long sidewalk to Deep Creek High School. A school filled with endearing,

A Short Story : A Story?
The sun shines down on the group, causing them to stir. Mary is the first one awake. She rubs her
eyes and groans softly before sitting up. It takes a minute for her eyes to adjust to the light but when
she does, she immediately sees a man sitting by the burning fire they put out the night before. He
has black hair, a slight tan and is dressed entirely in a black suit. His eyes are a deep red. The sword
that Selison was so terrified of is strapped to his waist. "Hello there." The man's voice is silky as he
smiles at Mary. Upon hearing him speak, Mary lets out a loud shriek. Everyone lurches awake and
sees what has Mary so startled. Selison leaps forward and extends his talons. "Wait, Selison!"
Zalminis's shout is too slow. Selison grabs hold of the man and pins him to the ground. "Who are
you?!" the young prince shouts. The man chuckles. "Oh, Zalminis. You called me and then didn't tell
anyone what I looked like. Poor form." Selison backs off slightly and looks over to his brother. "Is
that true? Is this the person you called?" "Yes. This is the man that will teach you to be king."
"What?" Selison gets off the man and walks over to his brother. "Who is this man? What can he
know of Chaos? How can he teach me anything about being king?" "Now, Ursr..." The man stands
casually and dusts himself off. "A king should never judge based on first appearances." "Ursr? Who
is this man? How does he know our language?" "I would appreciate it if you addressed any
questions about me, to me."

The Ladies of Missalonghi by Colleen McCullough Essay
The author of the book, The Ladies of Missalonghi, by Colleen McCullough describes to the reader
how Missy, an unattractive woman, in a small town differs from Alicia. Missy, the daughter of
Drusilla did not really have any self–confidence in herself. "She would begin by wondering
what she really looked like. The house owned only one mirror, in the bathroom, and it was
forbidden to stand and gaze at one's reflection. Thus Missy's impressions of herself were hedged
with guilt that she might have stayed too long gazing. Oh, she knew she was quite tall, she knew she
was far too thin, she knew her hair was straight and dark, that her eyes were black–brown, and her
nose sadly out of kilter due to a fall as a child. She knew her mouth ... Show more content on

She also never felt that intimate passion that she always wanted to feel. Her mother may have made
her believe in other things that wasn't true, but she wasn't going to abide by it. Missy felt that she
was in–slaved by her mother and her aunts. Her mother made her do all the chores even when she
was so sick that she couldn't move out of bed. When she got so sick and fainted, her mother and
aunt were worrying about who was going to do the chores. She was like Cinderella who was left
behind to clean and do everything. Even when she left the house to go get something, she always
thought about milking the cows and that she had to hurry back before her mother would get mad at
her. She had such a big responsibility that she didn't have any time for anyone, not even for her self
to enjoy. "Oh let it not be brown! Prayed Missy. I want a scarlet dress! A lace dress in the sort
of red that makes your eyes swim when you look t its that's what I want!".brown,"
Drusilla finished at last, and sighed"(Pg.51). She wanted a brown dress out of all the colors
she had to pick from. She always felt that she matched brown best aside from other colors. The
color brown which made her figure even more darken, is the color that she liked best. "I

Analysis Of Mothers Day 1996
Dale Kennington's unique artwork presents a realist view which encourages the viewers to examine
her art that illustrates "everyday" occurrences in a new and distinct way. In her oil on canvas piece,
Mothers' Day, 1996, Kennington displays numerous young girls clothed in extravagant, decorative
dresses in a nondescript waiting room; many accompanied by what seems to be their mothers. Each
dress is depicted with vivid, saturated color for implied emphasis. The adult women, assumed
mothers by the title of the piece, are primping their daughters for what seems to be a pageant show
of some sort by the identification number visible on the dress of one girl. Light and bouncy curls
accentuate the young girls' faces as they prepare for the show. Light from an unseen overhead light
creates a spotlight on most of the girls, casting shadows across the room's floor. In this scene, the
mothers seem to be actively preparing their daughters whereas most of the girls appear to be
unbothered and patiently waiting for what is to come next. This piece is quite large, 10 by 6 feet,
which allows for the audience to feel as if they were standing in the painting; this emphasizes the
realism of the piece. Kennington's use of realism allows for this scene to be represented candidly,
and without artificiality and she achieves this by using formal components that challenge the
audience to rethink their predetermined notions of any particular event, such as this one. By using
elements of design, Kennington brings us into the world of her artistry. From first glance, the
audience's view is directly drawn to a young girl in a green dress with her mother adjusting her
identification badge to her outfit as well as another young girl in blue being fixed up by her mother.
These will be Kennington's focal points. Just as important, the girls in the back are either sitting or
waiting around with their mothers for their upcoming event. Kennington uses relative placement
here to invite the audience the look from the foreground (where the two girls and their mothers are
standing), to the middle ground (where some young contestants are sitting down and others standing
up), and continue on examining the girls in the far back, seemingly dressed the

Amy drastically changes her appearance to become much plainer, and this is significant because she
can finally escape from being "Amazing Amy," which lessens the pressure of having to be perfect

I remove from my purse a pair of scissors and bunny brown hair dye. I shear off large chunks of my
hair... I put on a pair of outdated wire–rim glasses and look in the rearview mirror and smile again.
Nick and I would never have married if I looked like this when we met. All this could have been

The Children 's Book Watertower By Gary Crew And...
The children's book Watertower, by Gary Crew and illustrated by Steven Woolman, is simple when
individually read in text and illustration, but when placed together becomes unusually complex.
Most eight to twelve year olds who would read this story could find it amusing or entertaining, but
when read by someone older and wiser, they might apply past experiences to form opinions for each
element in reading the illustrations and text individually, then combined. The reader is able to
construct his or her thoughts by observing the small keys in each photo. Some of these keys are the
use of color, setting, expression and focus in the scenery and objects around.
The visuals in this story take the reader to a farm town close to an old, abandoned water tower. The
two characters mainly focused on throughout the illustration are young boys around the age of ten.
The photos showed the two boys vote to go inside the water tower for a swim when one boys
decides to go and stand on top of the tower, leaving his friend inside the eerie water by himself.
When his friend finally come up out of the water, he runs into town, climbs through a window to get
inside a house. During this time you are able to see the boy left at the tower. He sits beneath a tree
waiting and watching for his friend to return. When the boy finally makes it back to the watertown,
the boys decided to both come into town together. A few of these photos stand out to a reader when

I wear makeup. This is the first thought which occurs to me as I hasten down the stairs, gasping,

Flavia Hanigan Short Biography
Flavia Hannigan The dark blue power suit was practically ripped off by its inhabitant along with
pantyhose and undergarments. The ensemble was replaced by an exercise bra, lycra shorts, black top

Twenty minutes later, Flavia Hannigan was ready to begin. Her 5'6" fit frame moved easily through

Narrative Essay About Being Bored
I am so bored. I have nothing to do and the voices are not nice. They whisper in my ears and tell me
to do bad things. They keep telling me that they are not real and just to ignore them. But it's hard
and they get so loud. I couldn't tune they out and in the end I just gave in. After that I felt better and
I embraced them. I was so happy until they caught me. They called me a monster and that I was a
demon. Many people couldn't believe that I did those horrendous acts since of how I looked but
looks can be deceiving. It was funny that they called me the devil and how I look didn't match how I
acted. I remember when they asked me in court if I had any last words before I am sent away. I
looked them straight at the camera and said, "The Devil is real, and he is not a little red man with
horns and a tail. He can be beautiful. Because he's a fallen angel and he used to be God's favorite."
My laugh echoed through the courtroom and and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

human anymore and if it did then they had lost their mind. Some were clawing their skin off,
rocking back and forth in the corner, and some even looked as if they are being starved. They have

Which is ironic since we were sent here because they said we were monsters. Now our inside match

Produce a new look for a website.
3.1.2 Formal Report
===================
The problem that was in need of solving was to produce a new look for wow.com to target the 17 to
25 year olds. The look that the company were trying to aim for was young, energetic, dynamic and
flexible.
I firstly set out by comparing some current documents such as flyers, letters and invoices. This
helped me as I could gather the best parts from these documents and use them to give me ideas to
create new ones.
The documents that I selected had to be 3 of a kind that were from three companies with two of a
flyer and a letter.
I the started off by researching and designing a logo for the new look wow.com. I produced four
prototypes of the logo and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I also had to produce a job application form which had to be on the website. I looked on the Internet
for examples of application forms and selected the best ones and took ideas from them. Next
document on the agenda was an invoice. I brought in some invoices and used them to compare and
to help me design mine.
I then had to actually make the website for which wow.com would put their new range on. I created
mine by using an online website builder;
I used this as I don't have much knowledge on building websites. This website had to include a
homepage, an order form and a catalogue. I new what kind of look I was aiming for at the start and I
thing I achieved it.
To help improve my website I created a questionnaire to be answered by the first few customers.
This is so I could make improvements to it straight away and also to satisfy other customer's needs.
The questionnaire had two parts to it, the questions and answers section which was design so that I
could get exactly what I wanted and secondly the tick box section which provided me with what
generally what they thought of the website. I then produced the results and incorporated the
improvements into the final design.
Overall I think what I have produced has been exactly what the company has been looking for and I
feel that they will be happy with what I have given them. All of the stationary is stylish and modern;

Identity And Identity
Throughout history, one important question has stood out to us as a species: what defines us? What
makes a person who they are? Is it the way we look or act, or even what we eat? Andy Hinds, author
of his own blog Beta Dad and contributor to the New York Times blog Motherlode categorizes his
identity not by what he eats or wears, but by his differences from societal norms, namely his
disinterest in sports. Likewise, Larry Lehna, University of Michigan–Dearborn graduate and
accomplished author of an autobiography, uses his experiences after getting out of prison to portray
how the change his environment and the views of others affected who he was. In a similar way,
Dana Canedy, author of A Journal for Jordan; A Story of Love and Honor and editor at the New
York Times, attempts to explain to her son the importance of embracing his culture and the dangers
of rejecting it. These authors display the universal truth that identity is shaped by societal views,
environment, and family history.
To begin, the views of society are often monumental in the moulding of one's identity. Hinds has felt
the societal pressures first hand in the form of sports–shaming. Hinds, raised far from the influences
of any sports team, never really got into sports. As an adult, this has caused him many awkward
encounters of trying to go along with it or having to inform people of his disinterest in sports. He
recalls one such encounter of talking to his "...neighbor, a sports obsessed gay guy, [who] had

MODULE 2, ASSIGNMENT 4
October 22, 2013 Topic: Standard Costing, Variance Analysis and Budgets
Overview
The main topics for Assignment 4 are standard costing, variance analysis, and budget creation.
Accountants of all management levels often have to analyze variance reports in order to help in the
decision–making process. Through the differentiation of costs into fixed and variable classifications,
managers are better able to construct break–even charts and other decision–making and control
tools. Understanding cost breakdown can better determine where the inefficiencies of the operations
lie, and determine the first step towards enhancing the efficiency of an operation. In addition, cost
analysis helps toward the creation of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

New Look Jacket Inc.
In early 2013, the CEO of the New Look Jacket Inc. (NLJ) was reviewing the 2012 operating results
(see Exhibit 1). He was pleased to see that sales and net income were higher than the budget, but he
had a feeling that the aggregated numbers were hiding some information. He decided to call in the
company's newly hired controller, a Certified
Management Accountant, to ask for a variance analysis.
NLJ produces and sells two lines of jackets: nylon and leather. The market for nylon jackets is large
and competitive, but the leather jacket market has traditionally been small with only a few
competing manufacturers. During 2012, fashion trendsetters highlighted leather jackets, creating a
ten–time increase in the market's demand for leather jackets. Unfortunately, NLJ did not foresee this
trend and had planned sales of only 5,000 leather

Ike's New Look
Dwight D. Eisenhower (President): President of the United States from 1953–1961, with John
Foster Dulles as his Secretary of State. "Ike's New Look" consisted of a major change from
Truman's presidency, in that now instead of trying to just contain Communism, they looked to roll it
back and liberate any countries affected by it with a more aggressive foreign policy. Within this new
foreign policy, they promised to end the Korean War and implement CIA operations in order to
further confront Communism and the Soviet Union. Other major goals of the foreign policy were
producing more nuclear weapons to close the supposed "missile gap", as well as the production of
ICBMs, pushing brinksmanship and the idea of massive retaliation, and also looking to repair
relations with Britain and France so they could have bases in those countries for the air power
needed to drop bombs on the USSR.
1.
NSC–68: The National Security Council Report 68 was published in 1950 that officially established
that U.S. foreign policy was now to be geared solely towards stopping the spread of communism,

TITLE: THE RED NECKLACE LANGUAGE: ENGLISH EMAIL ID: rhitibose@gmail.com The
main street that ran through the bazaar always looked like as if it was Diwali, the shops were bright
and sparkled with lights, the aroma of hot Jalebies mingled with the scented dhupkathis floated in
the air. The multicoloured banners and shop hoardings glowed, in the light from the streets. Tunes of

Analysis Of Mirrors By Lucy Grealy
What really determines something to be beautiful. In Lucy Grealy's narrative, "Mirrors", she
describes her journey of finding her own idea of beauty. As a child she had cancer in her face so she
had surgery to remove but it caused her face to be deformed. Consequently, she was bullied because
of the way she looked, which caused her self esteem to lower immensely. As a result, she had
undergone many surgeries and even went as far as to travel to another country to try and fix her
face. Therefore, as she gets older she not only alters herself physically but mentally. She finally
realizes that how people see us should not influence how we view ourselves not only physically but
mentally as well. So she decides to never look at a mirror because she feels she does not have to to
know what she looks like anymore. She finally accepted the way she looks and started focussing on
her personal well being and recognizes that's what is actually important. Society has a critical
impact on the way we see ourselves because of the way social media shows us that we should look a
certain way, people telling us we should look a certain way, your negative thoughts about how you
look, and how society determines your value based on looks.
Social media has a big influence on this generation when it comes to "body image." Many women,
or "models," will post pictures of themselves showing off their body with thousands of likes and
many comments saying "body goals" or "I wish I looked like that." This

What Do They Expect? It 's Winter?
I plunge into the darkness, not even turning my head to look back at the mess behind me. The brand

All but one of the car tires popped; the windshield busted into incredibly miniature shards of glass;

deeper into the almost pitch black woods, I let my thoughts and worries wash away, losing myself in

The bird looks up at me funny slowly approaching, wondering what I will do, while I just wonder

I walk to our bedroom and slowly lower myself to the bed. I gently place my hands on my stomach.
I could, as Matt suggested, take care of it, but I found myself wondering. What if this was my

Shadows twirling, twisting, enveloping it's all I see they're surrounding me, choking me it's dark I
can't see anything not like anything was there in the first place. I try to speak but I hear nothing. But
I see a glowing in the distance like a candle but this was different it was eyes glowing eyes not
blinking just staring it made me uneasy and a little nauseous. these eyes piercing the fog, peering
into my soul this formless being filling me with dread like i've never felt, it took a step I felt as
though the ground shook and with each step I felt worse and worse like I was dying I screamed but
yet again no sound but I did hear. "SORA!" Ever so faint but still there and again louder. "SORA!"
That voice it's so familiar who is it? "SORA!" The fog is fading the eyes have dissipated and with
no warning I wake breathing heavily tears in my eye I see the worried face of a golden dragonborn
staring down at me " Oh thank god you're awake" he said between panicked breaths
"Basalar? What happened?" I said still shook by what had just transpired
"you were screaming in your sleep it looked like you couldn't breath I was so worried. What was
happening?" "I don't know a nightmare I guess, but it just seemed so real." "You mean a nightmare
this might be serious you should ask Bora or Thasha about this they're the more magical types and
the last I saw Bora she was at the waterfall, but i'm not letting you go anywhere until I know you're
okay Sora I mean i'm your best friend it's

Summary Of The Blitzboomer's Poem
I stared at the man trying to kill me. He had the eyes of an ape, crafty and cunning. They were
simmering with spite as I raised a tired sword arm to defend myself. He motioned me to attack him.
His voice was cold and echoed like a deep burial chamber. There was a gravelly aspect to it, as if
stones were scraping together. His voice fitted his pop eyes and saucy beard perfectly. It seemed like
he had fangs instead of teeth because they were shaped like broken spikes of a cave. The coils of his
lice–infected hair lay plastered over a pug nose, crooked and dented. I whacked the rounded knob
on the end of the handle of my sword off his granite jaw, but it had no effect. He cast me a lopsided
grin and I realized then that he had ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The one thing I kept in mind, though, is that talk is cheap, enough of that fluff. Tell me the cold–
hearted truth act upon it, and let us get on with our short and glum lives. Blitzboomer finishes this
debate by his signature catchphrase "politics is a slaughterhouse and this debate is a bloodbath to the
victors belong the spoils." Denmark may look like a chocolate–box on the inside, but on the
outskirts, it has been poverty–stricken. The alleyway has a foul stench. People are like raisins with
scrunched bodies cuddling with each other to get warmth, sneering and eyeing me with fear and
envy as I walk by. Mark my words, power is everything but not for everyone. People have gone
completely bananas, not like they weren't already, but quadruple times worse! You have stamps,
stickers, flyers, pins, balloons, confetti fluttering around. I mean, come on, get over yourselves
people! Life will and must go on. See results, you either like the leader elected or not. Simple as
that, until that leader screws you over, and then you're left with nothing more than a nickel in your
checking account. All I'm saying is that the government is not in our best interest. Their priorities
are to cater to the powerful not the people. Now, I see how the other half lives, and to be honest with
you, it sucks. And the kicker is it's only going to get worse, much worse. So what is my message to
the other half, now including me, fasten your seatbelts and hold on to dear life, because it's going to
be one hell of a bumpy

A Short Story : A Story?
The girl, laying in her warm bed, was staring. She was staring up at the ceiling, this happened every
night, a bed was supposed to give comfort yet it makes her anxious. She had only moved to her new
house in a secluded part of her neighborhood, and only a week in strange things started to occur.
Something was here and it wasn't playing games, she knew it wasn't after the first incident with *it.*
The girl had finally moved everything into her house, exhausted from the work and doing it alone.
She had gone upstairs to her bedroom yet the door wouldn't open. It was a narrow hallway, and it
seemed that every door in the hallway had locked themselves. Of course, it wouldn't have freaked
her out as much if it weren't for the door that closes off the hallway from the stairs had also locked
as well. She had been trapped, she couldn't do anything but wait to see if someone would come over
but they never came.
That was only last month, there had been plenty of these events over the weeks, each only locking
her out of the house, out of the rooms, or locked her car so she couldn't leave. She hadn't dealt with
it at its full power just yet, there was only thing that kept it from being too extreme. This girl had
something attached to her, something that helped her, something that wanted to protect her. The
house didn't want her, it didn't want her presence at all, it wanted her to leave. And how would the
girl have known? She only stayed, nothing could have helped her and told her the

  • 2. Taking a Look at The New Deal The New Deal was one of the most influential government policies in American History, proposed by New Dealers led by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, one of the most legendary presidents in American history, famous for his leadership during two of the most disastrous events in the history: the Great Depression and World War II. As a controversial government policy, some historians argue that the New Deal was radical while others maintain that it was conservative. The New Deal was radical at its time, but from today's point of view, it was still somewhat conservative. The New Deal was radical The New Deal was radical in that it greatly increased the power of the executive branch, greatly increased the federal budget, and started governmental interference of the economy. It gave FDR the power to regulate US banking system and business system. Its various programs directly provided help to the majority while creating a lot of jobs as well as housing for them. It set up the safety net for the majority of American people with policies such as Social Security. Banking and finance regulation The New Deal was economically radical; it gave the government a lot of power to regulate the banking system and finance system. The Glass–Steagall Banking Act of 1933 and the Emergency Banking Act of 1933 were among the first the New Deal policies. Visual Merchandise Guidelines For Retailers Since approximately 90% of cues provided by an environment are digested through sight (Edwards & Shackley, 1992), more than ever it is a vital time for retailers to be reviewing their strategies with respects to their Visual Merchandise Guidelines. With constant innovative technologies, retailers are finding novel ways to recreate the in–store environment on–screen; with the high street being described as acting on 'borrowed time' (guardian 2012). They get a crease between their eyebrows, stand hunched over as if exhausted from a long day, and try to avoid looking you in the eye. They suggest tests, possible answers that they really don't have much evidence for, and tell you that they'll give you some pain medication in the meantime. Nurses start coming in again. While one rechecks your vitals the other gets the IV started so that they can draw blood for tests. What tests? All of them, anyone that they can get an answer from in the next couple of hours. First an outcast as an American with Indian heritage, but now as another outcast but this time as an Indian with American heritage. It wasn't the night my parents decided it was best for my brother and I to go to India and live there for 2 years it was that night, my first night sleeping without the same bed, power rangers bed set with yu–gi–yoh and Pokémon pillows that I had realized my life was never going to be the same. Walking into my new school I could already tell there was a huge difference, instead of two doors there was a gate, with teachers and actual security guards all around you. Eying you like a hungry vulture, making sure that you're obeying the rules. I look around I can see the heat crashing into the sidewalk and bright yellow boxed shirts with kids under fourth grade wearing clip on ties and every grade above quickly tying on their ties before they get in trouble. Before we got to enter the school the actual school building, the teachers made us form a single file line so they could check to see whether or not we had right uniforms on for the right day. • 7. A Very Brief Look at the New Testament The New Testament is an anthology of twenty–seven ancient writings that describe the life of Jesus Christ and the beginning of the Christian Church. This anthology was not written by just one person, but rather, has several authors, most of whom are known and some of whom are not distinctly known. All of these writings are believed to have been written in the first and second centuries AD from roughly 50AD to 125AD(class notes). The New Testament was mainly written in Greek with some small bits of Aramaic (class notes), but has since been translated into various other languages. This group of writings has been used as both a theological and historical document, while there are no clear lines distinguishing the two. It becomes apparent in studying the New Testament that it is a group of texts discussing Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and the origin and spread of Christianity while including a heavy influence of the societies of the authors. The New Testament comes from at least eight different authors who lived during and after the life of Jesus. Each of the writings, while dealing with Jesus, his teachings or the spread of Christianity, has a historical undertone. There are clear bits of historical context throughout the anthology that allow the books to be dated and provide insight to the world of the authors. When the prophetic destruction of the temple in Jerusalem is being discussed in the gospels, it is clear that the authors are discussing the threat of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

I sluggishly pulled myself out of my bed and dragged myself to my closet. The words, first day of school moaned ghastly in my head. Summer was uneventful and school was just going to be hell. It takes a minute for her eyes to adjust to the light but when she does, she immediately sees a man sitting by the burning fire they put out the night before. He has black hair, a slight tan and is dressed entirely in a black suit. His eyes are a deep red. The sword that Selison was so terrified of is strapped to his waist. "Hello there." The man's voice is silky as he smiles at Mary. Upon hearing him speak, Mary lets out a loud shriek. Everyone lurches awake and sees what has Mary so startled. Selison leaps forward and extends his talons. "Wait, Selison!" Zalminis's shout is too slow. Selison grabs hold of the man and pins him to the ground. "Who are you?!" the young prince shouts. The man chuckles. "Oh, Zalminis. You called me and then didn't tell anyone what I looked like. Poor form." Selison backs off slightly and looks over to his brother. "Is that true? Is this the person you called?" "Yes. This is the man that will teach you to be king." "What?" Selison gets off the man and walks over to his brother. "Who is this man? What can he know of Chaos? How can he teach me anything about being king?" "Now, Ursr..." The man stands casually and dusts himself off. "A king should never judge based on first appearances." "Ursr? Who is this man? How does he know our language?" "I would appreciate it if you addressed any questions about me, to me." ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Ladies of Missalonghi by Colleen McCullough Essay The author of the book, The Ladies of Missalonghi, by Colleen McCullough describes to the reader how Missy, an unattractive woman, in a small town differs from Alicia. Missy, the daughter of Drusilla did not really have any self–confidence in herself. "She would begin by wondering what she really looked like. The house owned only one mirror, in the bathroom, and it was forbidden to stand and gaze at one's reflection. Thus Missy's impressions of herself were hedged with guilt that she might have stayed too long gazing. Oh, she knew she was quite tall, she knew she was far too thin, she knew her hair was straight and dark, that her eyes were black–brown, and her nose sadly out of kilter due to a fall as a child. • 11. Analysis Of Mothers Day 1996 Dale Kennington's unique artwork presents a realist view which encourages the viewers to examine her art that illustrates "everyday" occurrences in a new and distinct way. In her oil on canvas piece, Mothers' Day, 1996, Kennington displays numerous young girls clothed in extravagant, decorative dresses in a nondescript waiting room; many accompanied by what seems to be their mothers. Each dress is depicted with vivid, saturated color for implied emphasis. The adult women, assumed mothers by the title of the piece, are primping their daughters for what seems to be a pageant show of some sort by the identification number visible on the dress of one girl. Light and bouncy curls accentuate the young girls' faces as they prepare for the show. Light from an unseen overhead light creates a spotlight on most of the girls, casting shadows across the room's floor. In this scene, the mothers seem to be actively preparing their daughters whereas most of the girls appear to be unbothered and patiently waiting for what is to come next. This piece is quite large, 10 by 6 feet, which allows for the audience to feel as if they were standing in the painting; this emphasizes the realism of the piece. Kennington's use of realism allows for this scene to be represented candidly, and without artificiality and she achieves this by using formal components that challenge the audience to rethink their predetermined notions of any particular event, such as this one. By using elements of design, Kennington brings us into the world of her artistry. From first glance, the audience's view is directly drawn to a young girl in a green dress with her mother adjusting her identification badge to her outfit as well as another young girl in blue being fixed up by her mother. These will be Kennington's focal points. Just as important, the girls in the back are either sitting or waiting around with their mothers for their upcoming event. Kennington uses relative placement here to invite the audience the look from the foreground (where the two girls and their mothers are standing), to the middle ground (where some young contestants are sitting down and others standing up), and continue on examining the girls in the far back, seemingly dressed the ... • 14. The Children 's Book Watertower By Gary Crew And... The children's book Watertower, by Gary Crew and illustrated by Steven Woolman, is simple when individually read in text and illustration, but when placed together becomes unusually complex. Most eight to twelve year olds who would read this story could find it amusing or entertaining, but when read by someone older and wiser, they might apply past experiences to form opinions for each element in reading the illustrations and text individually, then combined. The reader is able to construct his or her thoughts by observing the small keys in each photo. Some of these keys are the use of color, setting, expression and focus in the scenery and objects around. The visuals in this story take the reader to a farm town close to an old, abandoned water tower. The two characters mainly focused on throughout the illustration are young boys around the age of ten. The photos showed the two boys vote to go inside the water tower for a swim when one boys decides to go and stand on top of the tower, leaving his friend inside the eerie water by himself. When his friend finally come up out of the water, he runs into town, climbs through a window to get inside a house. During this time you are able to see the boy left at the tower. He sits beneath a tree waiting and watching for his friend to return. When the boy finally makes it back to the watertown, the boys decided to both come into town together. • 23. Identity And Identity Throughout history, one important question has stood out to us as a species: what defines us? What makes a person who they are? Is it the way we look or act, or even what we eat? Andy Hinds, author of his own blog Beta Dad and contributor to the New York Times blog Motherlode categorizes his identity not by what he eats or wears, but by his differences from societal norms, namely his disinterest in sports. Likewise, Larry Lehna, University of Michigan–Dearborn graduate and accomplished author of an autobiography, uses his experiences after getting out of prison to portray how the change his environment and the views of others affected who he was. In a similar way, Dana Canedy, author of A Journal for Jordan; A Story of Love and Honor and editor at the New York Times, attempts to explain to her son the importance of embracing his culture and the dangers of rejecting it. These authors display the universal truth that identity is shaped by societal views, environment, and family history. To begin, the views of society are often monumental in the moulding of one's identity. Hinds has felt the societal pressures first hand in the form of sports–shaming. Hinds, raised far from the influences of any sports team, never really got into sports. As an adult, this has caused him many awkward encounters of trying to go along with it or having to inform people of his disinterest in sports. The market for nylon jackets is large and competitive, but the leather jacket market has traditionally been small with only a few competing manufacturers. During 2012, fashion trendsetters highlighted leather jackets, creating a ten–time increase in the market's demand for leather jackets. Unfortunately, NLJ did not foresee this trend and had planned sales of only 5,000 leather ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 25. Ike's New Look Dwight D. Eisenhower (President): President of the United States from 1953–1961, with John Foster Dulles as his Secretary of State. "Ike's New Look" consisted of a major change from Truman's presidency, in that now instead of trying to just contain Communism, they looked to roll it back and liberate any countries affected by it with a more aggressive foreign policy. Within this new foreign policy, they promised to end the Korean War and implement CIA operations in order to further confront Communism and the Soviet Union. Other major goals of the foreign policy were producing more nuclear weapons to close the supposed "missile gap", as well as the production of ICBMs, pushing brinksmanship and the idea of massive retaliation, and also looking to repair relations with Britain and France so they could have bases in those countries for the air power needed to drop bombs on the USSR. 1. NSC–68: The National Security Council Report 68 was published in 1950 that officially established that U.S. foreign policy was now to be geared solely towards stopping the spread of communism, warning that there would be a massive Soviet buildup of arms and was why the U.S. needed to be focused only on confronting Communism. ... • 27. Descriptive Essay On The Sad Bazaar TITLE: THE RED NECKLACE LANGUAGE: ENGLISH EMAIL ID: rhitibose@gmail.com The main street that ran through the bazaar always looked like as if it was Diwali, the shops were bright and sparkled with lights, the aroma of hot Jalebies mingled with the scented dhupkathis floated in the air. The multicoloured banners and shop hoardings glowed, in the light from the streets. Tunes of latest Bollywood movies that played from the radios of the shop owners mingled with the honks of the rickshaws passing by. The sheer energy of the shopkeepers beckoning customers in their loud voices, people buying, leaving the shops happy with their new purchase was electrifying. The Children ran about laughing, smiling, pleading for new toys while the parents, content and affluent, walked through the maze of shops looking for the best deals and best new things for their homes. It was festive, beautiful and busy all the time throughout the year. The bazaar dressed up even more during the festivals and the wedding seasons, looking resplendent like a new bride, glimmering in all her glory. I loved, absolutely loved visiting the bazaar. • 28. Analysis Of Mirrors By Lucy Grealy What really determines something to be beautiful. In Lucy Grealy's narrative, "Mirrors", she describes her journey of finding her own idea of beauty. As a child she had cancer in her face so she had surgery to remove but it caused her face to be deformed. Consequently, she was bullied because of the way she looked, which caused her self esteem to lower immensely. As a result, she had undergone many surgeries and even went as far as to travel to another country to try and fix her face. Therefore, as she gets older she not only alters herself physically but mentally. She finally realizes that how people see us should not influence how we view ourselves not only physically but mentally as well. So she decides to never look at a mirror because she feels she does not have to to know what she looks like anymore. She finally accepted the way she looks and started focussing on her personal well being and recognizes that's what is actually important. Society has a critical impact on the way we see ourselves because of the way social media shows us that we should look a certain way, people telling us we should look a certain way, your negative thoughts about how you look, and how society determines your value based on looks. Social media has a big influence on this generation when it comes to "body image." Many women, or "models," will post pictures of themselves showing off their body with thousands of likes and many comments saying "body goals" or "I wish I looked like that." This ... The bird notices my presence and freezes. "There is a certain name for this kind of bird, I know it. I think it might start with an f," I whisper to myself. The bird looks up at me funny slowly approaching, wondering what I will do, while I just wonder what the creature is. "Or maybe it starts with a ph?" I think aloud.
