image or recently watched a video on youtube.

Your username on Twitter is important because it is how you are identified on the website, Your username must begin with an @ sign, This is so because
people are able to Tweet things and they can include your account name “Slayer were amazing last night @Harleyjones” now that person will see this
message in their notifications.

Notifications are what you get when your username was mentioned in a tweet or if someone has retweeted something.
