2. What are test screenings?
All films use test screening after they have finished editing a film, a test screening is a
preview screening of a film or a television show before they release it for the public to see.
This is show they can get feedback from a small target audience to see if they need to re-
shot, re-write or editing any parts of the film the target audience did not think would grab the
audience attention.
How does it work?
Audience are selected from a cross-section of the population, the audience are normally
given a questionnaire which they give feedback on what they think about the
movie/television show that just watched.
What are focus group screenings?
If a film has a target audience of 18-45 for example, someone will go out and get different
people around that age which will be aloud to watch the film before its been released. Target
audience members answer survey questionnaires and sometimes they would be interviewed
of video just for proof.
What is a private screening?
This is commonly provided for investors, marketing and distribution representative, and VIP
media figures.
3. Feedback on my work!
When I got feedback for my work I took a lot of noticed of it and try to improve my work
so it can be at its best standard. The feedback given to me by my class mates and my
teachers really helped me because I improved my work and got the grade I was aiming
for.
